Unlikely renewal so they probably pitched a series finale.

Tried to get into Breaking Bad a couple of times over the years but lost interest during the 1st season. Any thoughts about jumping straight into S2 or 3? From what my friends say it's something that would be right up my street. Felt like I'v missed out on a great show.

Happened to me too. Watch the last 2 episodes of S1 for sure.

Breaking Bad is GOAT-level, but S1 really isn't that great. It really starts to take off towards the end of S2 imo.

BB is far from GOAT level. It's good, but it's not on great level. I had the same problem trying to get into it back in the day, it was just so slow and boring if you just watch one ep at at time. When you marathon it it's more interesting.

I can go back and watch the Wire 15 years after it was made for the multiple time. I'm probably never watching BB ever again even tho it was good.

i gave up on BB in season 4 iirc. i did go back to it, and enjoyed it a lot. my problem with it is walter white is a ****ing ******* i don't sympathize with. **** him.

i know people who say the wire is "ok". Doesn't mean they're right.

You aren't supposed to sympathise with Walter. Jfc

I don't like World War 2 documentaries. My problem with them is I just can't sympathize with this Hitler character, he seems like such a douche.

Sometimes i do symphatize with Walt. Same with Tony Soprano. Same with Bodie. Never with Skyler, Ralphie or Cheese.

Giving up on BB in season 4 is grounds for ban.

You're not supposed to, but I think a ton of people sympathize with Walt. That's why Skylar so unpopular.

i love breaking bad. but i don't drool over it as much as other people drool over it. my guess is that a big reason why, is because i dislike walter white more than those other people dislike him.

and walter might be the most likable one in his family, including in laws

I think bb has one of the most satisfying final seasons of any show. It keeps getting better and s4 and s5 are so, so good imo. Hank and Walt storyline in S5b was great. I rewatched it a year ago, i was instantly hooked again.

Daredevil season 3 was good. All daredevil-fisk-bullseye was great, all karen/foggy stuff wad pretty boring. Could have done with 10eps, to much filler. Amazing fight scenes.

Watching the punisher now, its okay so far at episode 4. But i already have the feeling they also should have done 10episodes instead of 13.

Loved The Wire, but I will never watch it again.

I've watched BB three times now....it's so watchable and entertaining.

Bodyguard was damn good....loved the twists and turns. Rob Stark is actually quite a good actor. But watch it with subtitles, otherwise you might not know what half of the characters are saying.

I really like English shows that go for 6 or 7 episodes and that's it.

Subtitles, really? I know our Brit regional accents can vary widely but do you really need a full text coverage. I very much enjoyed Keeley Hawes performance, and thought her acting stood out amongst a good cast. Also an honorable nod to Gina McKee who I haven't seen since 'In the loop' which if you haven't seen is a very entertaining comedy co-starring James Gandolfini.

I haven't finished it yet but I can understand most. I can't figure out why he referred to the woman and the man on the train as Asian, unless I am missing something or he was saying something else.

It's either that or stop, rewind, and listen again. The lead actor is Scottish. Yes, it's sometimes hard to understand.

What was with the "ta" they'd say to each other??

Being 'Asian' in the UK generally refers to anyone of Pakistani or Bengali origin who most typically emigrated over in the 70s and early 80s. I presume the characters on the train in this show would likely be 2nd generation 'home grown' terrorist dudes.

Ta is a kind of a short version of saying thank you, which is wildly used through much of the UK. You'd have a field day if you ever make it to my neck of the woods in Wales. Very thick localised accents and we say Ta-Ra instead of goodbye

I've been to England many times and never heard "ta" before.
