I can barely even remember how they ended Awake but I do vaguely recall thinking "WTF???". I think, though, that they wrote it as an attempt to conclude things but they had so little time to do it they just threw something together that ended up being totally unsatisfying.

I don't think the ending of Alphas is meant to be an "end". Even if they are pretty sure they're not coming back, I think they hope they will (maybe by a Jericho style fan campaign), so they wrote it with a mind of having somewhere to go if another season is ordered.

I agree. What I think was so good about the performance was that he was just so slightly "off" both physically and verbally that you knew he had some sort of affliction, but he didn't overdo it.

He was nowhere near as good when he was on Mad Men, though.

Dave's Old Porn started season 2.
Kathy Griffin and Tom Byron in episode one. just a hoot. Funny when you recognize the actress and the guy who f'ed her has no idea who she is.

Yeah, it was probably the only new show that I was really looking forward to this season. The negative is that all seasons will be 13 episodes max, if it makes it, which really doesn't work on network TV, considering they want properties they can take into syndication.

First season is 15 episodes long according to wikipedia.

I admittedly haven't read anything about the show recently, but prior to it going in production, Kevin Bacon said he would do no more than 13 episodes per season. Maybe they threw more money at him or something, or there will be a couple of episodes that he won't be in. Or...

Maybe wikipedia is wrong.

Battlestar Galactica people, I have a question but I don't want to poke around lest I get spoiled on something (I'm only a few episodes in):

Spoiler:
So Cylons take human form, obv. What I'm not entirely sure of is whether they are taking an actual human's form, or if the human form has always been Cylon. For example, Boomer. Was there ever a Boomer that WASN'T a Cylon, or has Boomer always been a Cylon but programmed not to know it? I'm presuming the later at this point.

Also, I would appreciate a YouTube compilation of every time Adama takes off or puts on his glasses.

I was clicking channels last night and landed on E! playing Chelsea Lately. Now I know who she is, and have seen her a few times, but last night had me howling the entire show, including the interview.

Anyone else give this show a whirl? Her style is closer to Craig Ferguson than chick show, but she celebrates the booze.

Yeah Garret Dillahunt and Martha Plimpton both carry that show really far. It hasn't had the falloff that My Name is Earl (same creator) had, which is good. Pretty much a solid mid tier comedy.

I have no idea if Fresh Meat can be seen in America, but if it can you should watch it. Just wrapped its second season with the third commissioned and its really awesome.

Its also shockingly realistic as far as portrayals of UK students, pretty much every character is representative of someone I knew when I was a student to some degree.

Yeah, I watch Scandal, as well. I think it's a lot better than I thought it would be, though this season is absolutely ludicrous in believability. I'm also seriously annoyed at the shooting through the glass camera work, and terrible music montages. It's an absolutely shameless soap opera, so that's one of its positives, that it doesn't at all take itself seriously, though it feels like it does more this season.

Lessu, if you haven't seen Damages, you should check it out.
