Yeah, Sepinwall calls it the best of the season so far.

What a cold and calculating bastard Walter White is. Great stuff

I just started watching this show, and while I like it, I feel like it has very amateur-ish production/camera work, at least through the first 5 episodes of season 2. I'm gonna keep watching tho because there is money and drugs and I loved MITM, so ya.

btw, a question about season 1:
Spoiler:
When Walt was supposed to kill that crazy8 guy and was having a hard time convincing himself, he went upstairs to get keys to unlock him and just all of the sudden decided to take the plate out of the garbage and put it back together only to discover a missing piece. What prompted him to take the plate out of the garbage?, or did the writers just get really lazy?

Damn.. I always make fun of idiots that clap at the end of a film, but i just sat here applauding the end of this episode.

Past two episodes have been a step above. Really fantastic stuff.

I wonder if Hank will connect someone knowing his phone number to make the phony hospital call to Hank calling Walt earlier in the day. Obviously Hank might die before he figures it out. Or he could snap from being so close to closing the case and then losing it at the last moment.

best episode of the season imo and candidate for best ever

Hank's face in the hospital was perfecto

and the preview for next week's episode looks cuh-razy

Dude, the story is basically set in the Arizona desert. The lighting and camera work are excellent for that location and fit perfectly for the Walter story.

The Hank vs Walt conflict has to come to a head soon and this gives the writers a perfect out to resolve it without Hank finding out about Walt.

Hank has a huge hard on for "Heisenberg" and it would not be believable for him to find out it's his BIL and still not want to bust him. So if Hank gets killed off we only lose one storyline whose outcome can only realistically lead to the end of the series.

is that the best episode of the whole series so far?

If hank dies they can bring his old partner back to continue the hunt for Heisenberg

It was pretty hilarious reading this right after the final shot of tonight's episode. Really great work all around.

This will **** up everything, walt may not want to cook
Walt has no idea the cousins are after him. If Hank gets killed it might get blamed on his escaping the Tortuga attack in El Paso or some other case he was working on.

while hank has a solid lead now, why did he still think heisenberg was around when they arrested the fake heisenberg last season? or does he now think jesse is the only one behind the blue meth they found?

with the trespassing thing in the junk yard, wouldnt hank have to wait outside the junkyard until he got the warrant?

jesse calling hank bitch and then walt just shaking his head was hilarious
