Saul in BB: Money laundering isn't what it used to be. Man I miss the 80s.

That line doesn't seem to match up with anything we've seen in BCS.

Huh? Maybe not "match up" per se, but nothing seems to conflict.

That said, this feels like a 3 season show, give or take. I don't think they can do much more.
it helps that BB created a universe for BCS.
doubt BCS would be anywhere near as good if it had to start from scratch.

ppl already love saul and Mike etc, if the were brand new characters don't think ppl would be so enamored.

I don't disagree there. But I find that the one clear advantage BCS has over BB is stronger actors top to bottom. I find there's one so-so actor in all of BCS.

I also think BCS has a better script, but that's also the writers really finding their stride.

So, is Mike in trouble here with the cops knocking on his door? Or do they need his help?

Pretty sure he's gonna need a lawyer.

I assume that they're either from Philly or feds who are there to talk to him about Philly.

This seemed pretty obvious. Saul had just given him his card. My guess is next episode he calls Saul to be his lawyer.

People that think the show is boring must only remember BB from its all action final season. Plenty of long periods in that show that were similarly slow paced, remember the beginning of season 2? That was boring as hell.

BCS is building slowly, but I'm sure there are plenty of cliffhangers and surprises lined up for us.

the entertainment hinges squarely on bob. the story has been dull so far, but the lead guy who is in every scene is carrying it fine.

These 2 aspects together intrigue me quite a bit. Mike was always Mike, but Jimmy is now Saul. Gonna be a blast when we get to Saul's Saul'dom.

Cops don't generally show up at your door unannounced just to ask for your help.

^ +1

They also showed up with a cop car so he's pretty much in trouble. Fortunately he got Jimmy's business card.

In the scenes for the new episode they show him being interogated. So yeha, he's in trouble.

The scenes in question are shown at the end of last week's episode. And it was obvious he was being arrested. Big spoiler!!

Even though I know it's frowned upon to mention previews, IMO if seeing/hearing about what's mentioned in previews "spoil" the show for you, you're too fragile for the Internet.

I used to think so, too...but to quote our President, my opinion on this has evolved.

previews are always misleading anyway and end up way off of where you think there gonna go with it
