What is his deal? He's already on record several times saying he feels personally cheated by the Patriots winning their Super Bowls, and repeatedly takes shots at the team even when the Ravens aren't playing them that week. I get the trash talk and mouthiness that tons of players do before games, but it's a lock this guy's got Brady and BB voodoo dolls all over his bedroom. It's Sideshow Bob creepy.

In honor of the Brady Mullet I have foregone a haircut since December of last year, and refuse to do so until Giselle make's Tom cut his according to Justin Bieber's latest hairstyle.

I can't wait to go to Foxboro on Monday night and watch the Pat's linebackers give the Jet's a Dirty Sanchez. after having anal sex, the man pulls out his penis and wipes it across his partners lip, forming an authentic looking mexican moustache.

The Jets have suffered a very big injury.

ESPN.com: Jets safety Jim Leonhard breaks leg

Leonhard basically runs the defense on the field.

Quote:
Leonhard's absence means the starting safety tandem will be Eric Smith and Brodney Pool, both of whom have been sharing the free-safety spot. Leonhard is third on the team in tackles (66 total), along with one interception and one fumble recovery.

He's also the Jets' top punt returner. That job will fall to wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, who will be back after missing two games with a partially torn groin. Typically, they use two returners. Rookie Kyle Wilson has been a disappointment, according to special-teams coach Mike Westhoff, who said he will use cornerback Antonio Cromartie or wide receiver Santonio Holmes as the other returner.

The Jets will miss Leonhard's intangibles. He's the classic overachiever, a big-hitting tough guy who endeared himself to Ryan with the Baltimore Ravens. When Ryan left to coach the Jets in 2009, one of the first free agents he contacted was Leonhard. On the field, he's an extension of Ryan.

"Unfortunately, this is a big injury to us," Ryan said. "He's an excellent football player, a great communicator, everything else. ... Emotionally, it was a letdown. I thought we were having our best practice of the year until that point. Obviously, it was a huge blow to our team, but this a tough group and we've carried ourselves this far because of our mental toughness."

Great win and extremely impressive all around. I thought the defense played fantastic. They gave up some garbage time points but never let them get within one score.
Pats gave the Jets too many field goals tonight.

What an incredible win. Brady is the best QB ever. He's going to win his 2nd MVP this year and hopefully another championship.

One of the moments of the night for me was just seeing BB getting the team together up 38-3 yelling at them to stay focused.

the inside track to the #1 seed is so sweet

the most ideal playoff seeding at this point would be

1 Pats
2 Steelers
3 Chiefs
4 Jaguars
5 Ravens
6 Jets

and I think there is a decent shot of that. obviously the big one in there would be Jags winning the South, which would be so nice but is unlikely. it would mean us playing one of those 4/5/6 teams in round 2 of the playoffs...the only one I would prefer to not see is the Ravens. and the Colts could always be dangerous in that spot as well

With the 1 seed, no team scares me that much. Baltimore scares me a little bit. Teams with a great passing attack could be trouble. Steelers were able to move the ball via the pass late in the game. Pats own the Steelers though.

NFL suspended Patriots ILB Brandon Spikes four games for violating the league's policy on banned substances.

He's done for the regular season, but should return for the playoffs. According to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald, Spikes was not suspended for ingesting a performance enhancer. A high-impact run defender in his first season, Spikes has 61 tackles and an interception in 12 starts. His absence against the Bears Sunday is a boost for Matt Forte's matchup.

The Pats clinched a playoff spot with the rout of the Bears.

The game in Chicago seemed like the toughest on the schedule. Next week's game against Green Bay is at home and the Pats may not have to face Aaron Rodgers who left today's game with a concussion. A 14-2 season looks very reasonable.

Who do we root for next week- the Jets or the Steelers?

Jets, because we want them in the playoffs instead of letting Indy or SD in the backdoor.

the only real concern from today is the Mccourty injury. I'm hoping he sat out the 2nd half b/c it was a blowout,etc...but that would be a giant loss. he's our best defensive player I think.

thankfully we have more than 30 days before the 1st playoff game, assuming we get a bye

thats the exact amount of time Vick needed this year with his broken ribs, as a comp. assuming his rib(s) are actually broken which is a bad case scenario

Quote:
McCourty, the Patriots' top cornerback with a team-high six interceptions, told the Boston Herald that was he was "OK" as he walked out of the locker room Sunday night, while the Boston Globe quoted McCourty as saying "I'm all right.

Cue Mark Schlereth sometime this week: "The Patriots have looked good so far, but they're still a finesse offense that has trouble running the ball. I'm not sure how they're going to fare going up against some of the league's better defenses on the road when the weather turns bad and you have to rely on hard, smash-mouth football."
