There's been a bear attack in Florida.

Nice to see Simba's brother get the save. Their mother must be proud.

Great to see us sweep the Marlins, especially after coming off a rough series with the Red Sox.

They were only 1/2 a game back of 1st at the start of the series, but we slammed the door on their hopes, in their house, and knocked them back into the pack.

What a mediocre division we have. Really would be pretty terrible not to win this division. At this point I'm fully expecting an underwhelming record but winning the division and losing first round.

I still think it's an interesting question: Who's the 2nd-best team in the division?

I guess it's the Marlins...?

Either way I hope there's no general consensus and we build up a runaway lead in the division over the summer.

The best part of a mediocre division is that all of the other teams will think they are still in the chase come late July and not trade off their good players for minor league talent, thus further ensuring that they won't be getting better anytime soon while still not making the playoffs.

Who was sent down to make room for Simmons? Why is JUpton the only OF to need regular rest days?

If Fernandez didn't blow out his arm it's definitely the Marlins.

As it stands, the Nats are probably slightly better even with their current injuries.

Gotta make sure he still thinks it's April. Can't play him too much.

Absolutely. I don't understand how it's even a debate or why TJ is underestimating the Nats. Don't underestimate them man. Setting yourself up for heartbreak.

That was a pretty painful game to watch ,but I was impressed with LaStella's defense. He made two real nice plays on ground balls. And got 2 more hits. It was a good home debut for him.

Christ, he did it again. Some rolling on the ground school yard ****. He's quickly erasing 3 years of bad memories.

Another barves game. 9 strikeouts and no runs while Minor fans 10, lol.

Do we always lose the noon games or is it my selective memory? Really should stop being excited about listening to game while working.

I was like no way the Chris Johnson contract could possibly end up being terrible. Now a month later, I would like to change my stance on that.

Ok, now that I've called AZ home for 2 years, I'm a bigger Dbacks fan than Braves fan(cut me some slack. It's my first time having a home team)......though I still follow the Braves, particularly through this thread. That said, since the Dbacks thread is basically me and one other person, I hope you guys don't mind too much if I post in here over the next few days as a fan of "the other guy". I'll be at all 3 games and am hoping for a fun series. I like Atlanta's side of it tonight or sure. McCarthy has been pretty much terrible.
