And it was on May, 19th in the year of our lord 2010, when Jason Heyward said let there be winning baseball, and the Braves never fell below .500 again.
pretty ridiculous..wtf happened to his change and curve though? all fastballs and sliders. His command was terrible too. some fluky **** his last 2 starts.
he threw a few curveballs and one change up. keep in mind that he's throwing fastballs and sliders 87% of the time this year. he doesn't use the curve much and almost never used the change.

I was at today's game, in the best seats I'll probably ever have for an MLB game. Section 103, 14 rows up, right behind home plate. The only other section below mine was the one that's like 5 rows deep, with the extra wide, padded chairs and ****.
I got there in time to see the first batter of the second inning, and never left the entire game (they bring your beer and ballpark food to you).
As the bottom of the 9th inning started and the Braves were down 9-3, I joked with the people behind and beside me that if nobody got out, Heyward would represent the winning run.
Seriously though, this is the first Braves game I've had the opportunity to go to since 2005.
And it started off with me thinking, well ****, I have these great seats and I need to just enjoy them, Tommy got shelled, no big deal, this is just what happens to me. The only time I got to see Maddux in person, he gave up a grand slam and we lost. I was there when the Orioles beat us 22-3.
But in the back of my mind, I never ****ing lost hope that the impossible could happen, I swear. Even in the 7th and 8th innings when we had no baserunners, if I recall correctly.
