So goddamn fun to watch. Nearly as fun to watch in the field and on the basepaths as at the plate, too.
On the flip side of that, what the hell is wrong with Chipper? He really looks bad at the plate. No power and no contact. Starting to really show his age I guess. He keeps straining his obliques and that just kills his swing from both sides of the plate.
They also need Glaus to come around and show he's not washed up or else give Hinske a shot at first since they're not going to bring up Freeman this year.
Need to get Escobar healthy and some Ritalin or something. The guy looks high out there sometimes.
The pitching so far is fine except for Jurrgens. His fastball has lost a few mph and he hasn't looked good at all this year. Hopefully it's nothing some rest won't cure.
They had a tough stretch of the schedule in April and now have played and swept Houston, then get the Nats next and play Pitt six time this month, plus more home games this month(vs Mets,Cincy,Ari, and 1 with Phi) than last month, so they could have a great month to move out of the cellar.
