Disclaimer-obv I am in not much of a position to ever question Bobby, but I do prefer a lag offensive style with this lineup to a tagnit style.
I'm really hoping most of the starters can go deep more often than not for the next couple weeks. I don't want a worn out bullpen deep into a pennant/wild-card race.

Re: Atlanta Braves
look at the bright side, before tonight we've played the most road games in mlb by 2 full games and we're not even home yet. We've played 36 road games and the Yankess have played 34 with a few teams at 33.
That combined with our 19-6 home record (also best in mlb in terms of win % and games above .500) bodes well. The Phillies have played 29 home games which is 2nd fewest in our division.
All that said, I think we're in great great shape based on how we have withstood the road trip and 20 day stretch without a day off (the longest mlb allows for).
Well said, things are looking great right now. The way this team is playing it wouldn't even surprise me is we went 4-2 or 3-3 against the Rays/Twins.
After those series', we have a very nice stretch of games. There's a lot of reasons to be optimistic about this team.
It's a pretty good sign when we're worrying about how our 8th hitter, or the 5th spot in the rotation are going to play out.
If we can run good in the injury department, and keep the bullpen/rotation fresh, I like our chances of making the post-season. We have good enough pitching to be a nightmare in a short series for any team, if we get hot.
