Want a safe bet?

its a 13 team league. No rule changes = <26 trades in the entire league this year. Hope everyone drafted well

lol if I knew that bro I would of taken them in the auction. Who knew Nelson Cruz was gonna put up those #'s last year? Russell Branyan? Zach Greinke? the list goes on

I've never been in a league that's had more than 3 trades in a single season. I've never played in an auction league or salary capped league before.

No one is listening Thunder. We're not changing the rules at this point. Sorry you didn't leave yourself enough cap space to make SICK MOVEZ. If we're all at such a detriment being bound up in salary, then clearly you should have gone the Cutlahhhh route and dominated the league by picking up players when teams need to shed salary. Cutlahhhh to finish #1?

If we increased the cap all around, it would make no difference next year. Do you see why?

3 trades is the most trades you've ever had in a fantasy league, bro? this brings into question the I've been highly successful using projections comment from a few posts ago for me. What leagues were these? How many leagues have you been in for money?

There were 34 trades in my $1k fantasy hoops league this year. Virtually all of the teams at the top of the league are there b/c of trades. My co-manager is dominating that league based off of 3-4 outstanding trades he made and 2-3 more beneficial trades. All told with 1st place prize money and sidebets he stands to make $12.5k+

So I might be wrong here, but lets not go to extremes and say that trades rarely happen and even if they do they're relatively unimportant, b/c that's insane.

Also, I'm perfectly happy with my team and my draft strategy. So I'm not trying to demand any changes. I'm only saying almost everyone is in cap trouble. Its only an observation, I guess let the season play out and see how it goes.
