It's because teams don't need to DL people in the off-season. It only really matters to them when they go to 25 man rosters. I have another league where I can't DL Luebke yet even though he won't pitch again till the summer. I think the fairest solution is just to say that you can't get extra guys to replace DL guys in the auction. It shouldn't matter too much given the size of the rosters we use.

Yeah, so it's kinda arbitrary who's on the official DL at this point and who isn't. I wouldn't have a problem with being able to DL the guys who really are on the DL, but I also wouldn't have a problem with just saying forget it, no DL moving until 25-man rosters are made official. I think the latter is easiest, makes the most sense.

Are we just waiting for his minor league cuts? With expanded minors, there is good chance he doesnt cut anyone. Looks like he only has 5 to begin with

technically i didnt hear from Banhammer/Pecota/Primtime. i think i'd probably let them make any cuts if they wanted to if they get it in fairly quickly. otherwise not a big deal.

will go over all the trades that were made and post draft order and new spreadsheet next.

Interested in cheap pitching, either rookies, prospects or guys in year 1 or 2 of deals. Could move someone like Trumbo who is cheap and valuable. Though it would take some good pitching to get trumbo as he is only on year 2 of his rookie deal

Sorry. I replied to the email that was sent round about this. I have no cuts to make.

the draft order in the spreadsheet is way off.

i have 2.10 and im sure there are others as well.

my trade with fifield needs to be processed.

i think we should get the sheet 100% up to date before we start anything.

the first round has been untouched by this latest round of trades so i didn't see anything wrong with getting the ball moving.

One thing that does have to be decided is that Levarkin and Thayer tied last year. I don't know of any tiebreakers we have in place, so i'm probably just going to random.org it. Should i rerandom for every round? or just once for all of them

I sent you a PM, but it probably got overlooked because I had other stuff in there too. No worries.

I vaguely recall us using a random tiebreaker last time this came up, but I'm not sure. Either way, I think this would be fine.

Edit: Also, one coin flip for the whole draft is ok. The order flips each round anyway.
