Sure if Trooper had lived a completely different life starting at the beginning of high school that might have been an attainable goal for him.
Yea he has been the classic underachiever since School and really didn't do much to change it. I think if you look at his attitude it's not hard to see why.

Trooper just made 2 cryptic posts on social media:

when i say theres nothing i could have done i hope im right <3

I wanna say something, but I don't know what to say. I probably shouldn't say anything anyway. It's a sad night.

Comments under both posts seems to be condolences. Hope he is alright. Probably broke up with his girlfriend?

[QUOTE=CB3;54893314]This, and your previous post, is a well reasoned and thought out commentary. A nice moment of reality in this thread. Preach on, preacher.

Enough of this grown up tax talk lol... time for a different ROUTINE...
lol
Life is too short to get too serious. This vlog talks about routine... you see my youngest and also a few crappy hands from a tournament.

I hope you are right about the GF....I read it as a more ominous message about someone passing.

Compared to the average person I don't think he is doing too badly. He has seemingly always been able to remain gainfully employed or find other means of supporting himself which is more than a lot of people can say. Not everyone has the ability to achieve secure six figure salary jobs which is why they pay so much. If everyone could do them the pay would decrease. Sure Trooper could have gone to trade school and become a plumber and would probably be able to pull down close to 100K a year by now if he really applied himself, but if he is going to be miserable doing that what is the point? This life seems to be satisfying to him and certainly more satisfying then the more secure employment he has had in the past. So long as he can support himself and maintain a reasonable standard of living he is doing pretty good by most measurements.

^ It's interesting how Neeme, Vibes, Burton, Priest, Owen, Vaughan... the people at the same level don't trash Trooper. (Bart Hanson and Marle did on LATB recently but they're not really vloggers.)

It's only the people doing worse that talk about how awful his life is.

My guess is GF. I mean a girl can only take so much of the hoodie, baseball hats and hamburgers and rants about chip runners not getting chips to you in a timely fashion. It's such a dead end.

My guess is gf too, and my guess is the time Troop may have available. Vlogging full time and poker part-time doesn't seem to leave much time free.

Ironic, considering the few people who are envious of Trooper are so because they feel like he has so much free time.

I heard a great quote from "Justified" that I am re-watching on prime.

"If you see an AH in the morning, you saw an AH. If you see AH's all day then you're the AH". lol

You clowns clearly don't get the end-game goal of Troopers vlogs. His catalogue of work is worth 10x the collective value of all the vloggers you mentioned above. At his present rate, he will have easily $5 million worth of edited footage within 3-5 years that will either get snatched up by Netfux, Spamazon; or some up and coming streaming service...or he may eventually start charging a monthly membership after he transfers everything to a self-hosted platform. The irony of all this is delicious. The aggregate IQ of the posters here would probs scare the shat right outta' me.

A loss equal to the cost of two decades of renting?

If you have to trash others to make yourself feel better, that typically means you have some major insecurities in your life.

And usually a disturbing lack of class.

Did Marle really trash Trooper on LATB? Is this factually correct? I was under the impression that she said something to the effect that Trooper's vlogs illustrated the grind of playing poker everyday. Is there a link without having to pay for a subscription? I'm not paying a penny unless they bring Limon back!!!

I guess this what Trooper was talking about when he complained about poker media. I don't really care for LATB.

The one thing I don't get about Neeme and I am a tourist not a local is that he plays at the Red Rock. I love the hotel but its mainly regulars is it not?
You think the games on the strip be looser?
I love his Vlogs

Or he could sell a movie script to Hollywood called "Vlogger" where a poker player risk it all to move to Vegas and finds himself in the most challenging mental game of his life with all the trolls on social media. The real games plays out all on the Internet.

I was thinking of Owen to. Looks like Trooper getting sick of the crazies and drug addicts on the strip at end of his last vlog. That's my biggest complaint. Come to Texas Trooper. We still love you out here!! Come play poker with me, Dream Crusher and Whabs. No left coast wackos out here!

Spoiler:

The strip was pretty annoying to walk with all the scams when I was there last summer.

LV should look to clean that up.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is too far from the Strip for most local pros to consider playing at but attractive for local non-pros who hate the Strip.
