Something tells me they have no intention of reversing it, welp it was a good run i guess lol. If they do change anything ill post it in here but i highly doubt it based on the emails from Rewards customer service.
The side benefit of DIAD with vp is you put a lot of coin-in into a machine. It makes them think you are a gambler.

What does earning 2500 tier credits in a single day look like? I’ve never gotten close to that in one day.
If playing video poker, what limits/credits/type of game/etc is best for achieving this?
You have to play dollar units at least. Some machines let you play only one hand at a time. I had a favorite/lucky machine that was only 1 hand at a time. It takes maybe 9 or 10 hours of play, which is rough if your lucky machine is taken first thing in the morning and you have to wait till the person leaves it. Even when I primarily played that one machine, I also spent some time on multi-hand machines.
Caesars' gaming "day" used to be from 6 a.m. to the following 6 a.m. You'll want to verify that.
I did DIAD during the 5x promo in April. I played dollar units, mostly 3 hands at a time, and pressed it to 5 and even 10 hands when I was running hot. It took maybe 3 or 4 hours total. Be prepared to lose 4 figures. If Diamond isn't worth 4 figures to you, set a stop loss at what you're willing to lose.
Keep close watch on your tc on the machine tally. Unless you're winning you want to stop as soon as you have 2500 tc. After all, vp is a negative return game.
