Random benefit note I was recently made aware of:

Diamond Elite gets a $600 airfare credit to Las Vegas once per year. If you already live in Vegas, you can get a $600 freeplay instead of the airfare credit when you book a stay in Vegas.

I wonder if they would extend that $600 FP offer to anyone? I live in the Bay Area, so my flight usually costs me less than $200 (sometimes much less than $200). I would much rather have the $600 credit.

Also, does anyone know if the $600 flight credit would count towards my flight and my wife's flight? I am assuming no.

Sounds like you can get free play instead of airfare, but only up to the amount you spend on the flight. Didn't see anything about a significant other. Doubt their fare is included.

It might be. The "Seven Stars Retreat" will cover up to $1200 in airfare, and that definitely can be used to cover both you and a significant other.

Royal Suite at the Flamingo now my new favorite Caesars room. It's annoying dealing with the Flamingo elevators, self park and the Flamingo generally but once you get to the room - damn. That's a nice suite. Huge, very classy, great view. And mine was super quiet. I presume the riffraff paying $15/night are on the lower floors.

Ya they are as good as cash anywhere they are accepted. Paying for your room, restaurants and bars etc (some don't accept them but many do)

Technically there are some CET properties that have restaurants that **** you on using your rewards there, but I think they are outside of Las Vegas.

It happened to me at Horseshoe Bossier City, I used them for take out at a place and when I checked my comps later they charged me double points! The food was barely worth single points prices. I would have never used them there if I had known.

The last time I earned any tier credits to speak of, the "earning day" went from 6 am to 6 am. Does anyone know if things have changed since the Eldorado takeover?

I don't know any casinos that aren't 6-6, cet in Nj are still 6-6.

Has anyone posted the sheet with the list of participating restaurants for the celebration dinner recently? Curious as to what is available/closed currently.

edit- that link is definitely not accurate as it has flavors buffet, mesa grill, etc on there.

I was just there and they didn't give us a sheet when we asked, just a link to the website. Not sure if it was to that sheet or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if it included things that aren't actually open.

So this is obviously the 7-stars list. But the nice lady at the counter put a red tick next to everything that is Diamond eligible. Believe this to be accurate as of Super Bowl weekend. Also, make sure to make a reservation!

Yeah, was gonna say, going there at happy hour was probably my favorite use of Diamond Celebration. Decent glasses of wine for $8-10 so you could have a couple drinks and a steak for your $100 or a little more.

I checked some of these other places listed, doesn't look like any of the options have comparable deals now.
