The real question is, did you play the Masters with the rough up or did it pre-date the days of the second cut

I watched a replay of the 99 US Open final round last night. All those pussies just handed it to Payne Stewart over the last three holes. Not a single one of them had any gumption at all.

wow tiger is great!!!!

he was great. he is now average.
I think we should take a closer look at the word average and what I think Leon(I hope your new nickname catches on) really means by it.

Tiger's performance since the fire hydrant has been average. It certainly isn't Paul Goydos average, but it is average within the realm of the upper echelon on tour. He has fallen a looooong way from the crazy heights of no one can touch him. The current state of his game puts him among a group of players that average better than everybody else on the planet.

When compared with only the top 10 players in the world, he's been strikingly average!

Saw the final few holes on YouTube the other day. But yeah how does TGC not show old tournaments and instead Paid Programing hucksters hocking the latest gimmick that dumb white people who make too much money will buy? And as you said, Haney and Feherty and Breed and the Englishman who have to fill time everyday with their gimmicks.

I just started watching golf last year and would much enjoy watching the history than Michael Breed walk toward the camera and yell at me about a towel under my arm.

again i have to explain to you guys. when i call him average it is in relation to the top 150 or so players in world max. also in relation to all time greats.

to me right now id honestly say hes 30th to 40th best player. if his name wasnt tiger and you looked at his wins over last few years theyd look like lots of guys.

I don't think "average" is a fair description if you're comparing him to the "rest of the pros" on Tour. Compared to his own ridiculously-high standard that he set, then yes, very average (if even Poor).

Since 2010-2012:

Tiger:

16 Top 25s
8 Top 10s
3 MCs
1 Official Win

KJ Choi (29th in World):

20 Top 25s
13 Top 10s
10 MCs
1 Win

Keeping in mind that KJ played probably 2-2.5x more the events than Tiger.

Average amongst the top 150 in the world = 30-40th for Leo. Which is Actually top 25% of the best 150 in the world

Does it ever get caught in your zipper when you take it out and waggle it around like that?

I thought Haney's book was decent read. He tries a bit too hard perhaps to defend his record with Tiger, but I cut him a little slack on that since he has some reason to be defensive given criticisms of his coaching years. Overall, I thought fair and appreciated the opportunity to get an insider's glimpse into the world of coaching Tiger Woods.

If Tiger can find his short-game of old and get past his obsession with heavy weights, he is definitely capable of winning into his late 40s
