Liking it a bit more over time as I get used to it. It's possible to have a great time you just need to spend 2-3x more on everything, a $300 room in BKK would be $600 here, and less square meters, and it costs more to find something decent to eat, been eating out every day. Barfine at burgos was 2900 plus two lady drinks of 300, then 3000 short time, she ended up staying long time though and banged 3 times. Had some taxi drivers that seem methed out or violent, have heard the way to go is to get a private driver - so 2x more for transport too.

you also are living in the only area of the country where you are going to be seeing meals over $5 routinely, i spent more money on food in BKK and patts then i ever have in phils (kind of by choice as upping budget, but still had to work a lot of pad thai and shwarma in to the food rotation) not easy to find western food in bangkok for $5 a meal

and barfining at burgos...... the value in phils isnt from going to burgos its from easy free girls or cheap freelancers

Was saying to the mamasan tonight how it's bad value, she said this is makati, everythings expensive, rent for the bar is high etc., I said but if it was lower you'd make more money, see how the bar's empty, she says well this is Sunday, I said bangkok gogos will be fuller than this every day of the week, and the barfines are 1/3 the price. I like dreaming personally, I usually have reasonably interesting ones and I prefer it to just pure sleep. While I suppose I might do better energy wise the next day if I slept pure without dreaming, when I'm sleeping it is time in my life, my life that won't last forever. So I kind of like how dreams are still a way to experience something during that time, rather than just having 'dead air,' during that time that is still time in my finite life that is being spent.

Well I look at life as a blessing and a gift, although obviously the fact that with every passing second we are one second closer to death isn't exactly awesome, but whatever, part of the terms and conditions.

But I don't know how you can say life isn't finite. To date no one has lived forever. Everyone eventually dies. Thus life is finite.

Ok. Yeah. I have issues with a busy racing mind too. Even so, realizing that I'm not going to live forever and one day will die I do prefer dreaming to not dreaming because it feels like I'm getting 'more bang for my buck,' when I'm dreaming than when not.

That being said, more well rested for when I am awake could have it's appeal too I suppose.

Hummmm...

It's interesting that your drug of choice, pot, makes you less likely to dream by the way. My drug of choice is alcohol and I actually feel that while I put my mind to sleep easier with alcohol than without, it seems I dream more often when passing out drunk than when falling asleep sober.

When I used to smoke weed everyday I almost never had dream.

I also had low tolerence after many years. And sometimes I was paranoid or anxious. Always wandered if it has something to do with the low tolerance.

I had a writing job up for grabs, easy one, just rewriting a load of articles prolly worth about 750 Bucks over the next 2-3 weeks, i asked Jspil if it was worth getting K2 to do it but he advised me not too so have stuck with fiverr. Think Jspil wants to keep k2 all to himself.
