Hi guys,

Whats the cheapest way to get from Phuket to Macau?
Looked online for flights but they seem to be $600+.

Maybe theres a cheaper way,or even a good site to find cheaper flights?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you were looking for roundtrip and not sure when your dates are. But I was able to find a flight from Phuket-Singapore-Macau for $134USD one-way on Tiger Airways.

You're best bet is to play around on www.jetstar.com and www.tigerairways.com and look for cheap flights from Phuket to Macau connecting through Singapore. Fair warning: you'll get some nasty layovers and red-eye flights. But it's cheap!

there are money exchange places all along "san malo?", it is a shopping strip about 1KM down the road from the Grand Lisboa (walking away from the wynn, on the same street as the main entrance of the GL). They have the best rates in town and have Euros and USD.

Air Asia Phuket direct to HK is pretty simple and should run you about $120 US one way.

At the wynn at first they told me no way to change back HKD into EUR but then another cahiser gave me a receipt with a hold until 6am. Ivs been told sometimes you get a receipt with a hold for 1 week so I dont really understand. Do I get any advantage about this with a wynn club membership? I guess I sould ask them directly. Also apparently I can change back in the grand lisboa but the fee suck.

Just arrived in Beijing Last night.

I'm residing near Beijing Station at the moment. Would be nice if I could meet up with a fellow twoplustwo'r whose familiar with Beijing and could show me around and give me advice. I need to talk to someone who speaks English fluently. This language barrier is confusing.

My skype is - bumborass

I'm here alone and need some guidance.

.. Also can anyone recommend me some good English speaking hostels located in the Beijing City core?

Cheers,

Ophidion

Sunrise is centrally located (15 minute walk from Wangfujing and Forbidden City) and all the times I've been there the front desk and bar staff all speak passable English

hey im thinking about going to macau to play poker for a living but i can only stay up to 90 days without visa. Now, what should I do after the 90 days, where should I go and when can I come back for another 90 days? I was thinking about spending 1-2 weeks in countries like japan or australia, would the 2 weeks away from macau be enough to be able to come back for new 90 days without visa?

i hear about ''visa runs'' but i assume u guys actually have a visa?? i wouldnt have one so im not sure if they even let me in to hk without anything or is taking the ferry from macau to hk airport enough to come back and take the ferry back to macau the next day? lol
thx for answering

€dit: let me add that id like to go somewhere as cheap as i can to renew the 90 days, flights to australia are too expensive ^^

If you have 90days in Macau you also should have "free" entry to HK, then you just get another ferry to Macau (cost about 20US$ each way), then get another 90 days. DId you actually need to apply for the Macau visa 1st time? or direct go through and get 90 days?

If you had visa in China you could cross to Zhuhai, no need to take transport, although it is relatively more complicated to get Chinese visa

No need to apply for visa 1st time since i can stay in macau 90 days without any visa. I was there recently for 11 days...
When I arrived at hk airport, ferry terminal was closed already so I had to go through immigration. He said I should put ''transit'' on that immigration card which you get on the airplane so I could take the bus outside hk airport to the macau ferry terminal.
Should I do the same after my 90days (taking ferry to hk airport) or should I take another ferry ??

You are so wrong!!!
Take the bus HK, Shenzhen, Macau. Makes more sense and saves you a lot of cash

u need to take a normal ferry, not that one

BUT, what GZpower said doesnt work most of the time, only if you are lucky with the immigration dude being lazy or something (not looking at your stamps)

You need to leave macau for more than a day, and if you want to make sure you get another 90 days, you need to be out for either (30 days in china or HK) or (10-15 days in other countries)

Macau is getting a lot tougher on that lately, just FYI
