The government easily trace you with the IP you submitted when you upload the vid.

Online gambling still illegal in china.

Yea online gambling is illegal in china.. and a multi billion dollar industry.. i think 1/2 the people I know were gambling on the world cup. The government has to fry alot of fish to get to me

Still, where would you recommend I upload the videos then?? I have a ton of Chinese in my QQ group, are you 'mienvana'?

Edit: I just asked the group, and they said theres tons of this kind of video on youku.

Yes, but they do it discretely.

Your case is different, you are telling everyone (with your video and you in it), that you play online poker in china for the last 5 years and trying to make China Yuan 20,000 (US$ 3k), and trying to recruit students!!!

What proof the police need? all there!

How stupid can you be?

I am not your mate!

Right, because Chinese people writing "刀" [dao] instead of 美元 [us dollars] is really sneaky.. i'm sure nobody is gonna figure that out lol.

You might want to check out www.pukevip.com if you wanna start reporting people for breaking the law I bet there's a ton of ips logged on there!!

Anyway trying not to lose my temper, what do you suggest I say in the videos instead to be sneaky?? I do wanna find students, and I don't have to encourage them to gamble. Just students of QQ play money poker etc.

Quite right. I've been in Macau for 4 years and my Cantonese has only reached the level of 'Beginner'.

I would imagine it is easier to live as an English speaker in Macau than the Mainland though - I've met people who have lived here over 10 years who can't speak more than "Ng Goi"

How do you stay in Macau for that long? What is the Visa situation? I'd like to live there for awhile and play live poker but thought it was not possible.

You really don't understand?

Think about it like drugs. Possession of drugs is a minor crime. Selling drugs on the other hand, will send you to prison.

You are promoting gambling, not just partaking in it yourself. Much worse.

Lol they might kill you for selling drugs here.

Well, I have a job and have become a resident. For a poker player you will just have to come and go like everyone else I'm afraid.

the 3g in guangzhou is pretty good, and reliable internet, but a bit slow.. wouldn't want to make that my main internet connection, it's pretty annoying to connect to pokerstars over it also

Trying not to spam the thread too hard.

Here's a new video I put out looking for students/"coworkers", tried to avoid mentioning gambling or anything controversial... although my Chinese might be even more incomprehensible since I didn't practice enough all the new words!

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjEwMjE4MDYw.html

If you guys are really concerned about me encouraging people to "break the law", this should cover it, i think? Help me out..
