Cambodia, burma and vietnam go for legal poker to get tourist money. Rake will likely be high as a guess. Cambodia seem to go for online poker also, rake and segregation unknown. But much is now going to start changing in asia. The eu regulations are getting closer to ready here. The americas still need to follow, but mexico i heard had some ideas in mind.

Online poker boom isnt an impossibility, already some eu countries, plus brasil etc. are more in, thanks to popularity, and the improved legislations in the eu, getting more fish in games.

Does anyone know how much an apartment would cost to rent in Siem Reap and if there is any decent website with info?

Not sure why you would want to live in Siem Reap, it's only there to ferry people to Angkor Wat. If you want to live in a touristy place then Sihanoukville would be heaps better.

I quite like Siem Reap and a friend is hoping to get a job there in the aid industry so we'd be sharing, anyone got any info? Snooky could be a possibility further down the line.

one great thing about riverking is that I can trust them with my money. Their like a bank but not a bank. Yet better than banks, period. They open 24/7 and never closes on holidays. I can withdraw my money any time I want. Plus, the poker games there are way better than Naga. they always message you when games are starting. great place.

Hello,

I am now in Sihanoukville. Played 1/2 a few days ago in Casino here. Overall not much action. Maybe any tip who can point me in the good direction here?

Thanks

If I were you I would go to Riverking in Phnom Penh! There are always great games there 24/7! Even on holidays! Just leave all your net worth at the cage! It's safer than a bank! And on top of all that you get free pizza when you play!

I read that they were looking for investors, as they had ran out of money, or something like that. I think they were planning a huge resort.

Can definitely vouch for this. Been here two weeks now and River King is nothing like I experienced back in the states. There are games everyday for both hold em and PLO and everything is free; food, drinks, cigarettes, etc. The action is good and will probably get better with high season approaching. And your money is absolutely safe here. From what I can tell this is probably the safest place in PP. And being a total noob here the managers have helped me with everything from hotel rooms to girls. Games usually start by 1 pm but you can always call ahead: +855 976638233

Been reading this alot and really considering moving out to Colombia to play poker fulltime and just have a great experience. I work here as a freelance webdeveloper, and I could continue my work from there, earning relatively tons of money there.

How much $ would you need per month to have a good life? What does it cost to rent a nice appartement/room? Costs for food, smokes and drinks?

Found some stuff on other websites, but not sure how accurate it is. Saw there you could get a pack of 'cheap' smokes for 7 cents, but that seems really low.

Thanks!
