For me, I didn't enjoy it as much as ao nang because there was a **** ton of jellyfish washed up on shore and I am a huge pussy when it comes to jellyfish, big time phobia, also they were huge, whereas I haven't see any sign of jfish at ao nang and I don't think it's just rungood cause I've been there loads since i got here (staying 2mins away), ended up accidentally stepping on one at railay lol

What was amazing was the longboat ride; the view of the sea and beaches and especially the cliffs was unreal, and as a traveller with not much experience I kinda feel like I'll never see anything more beautiful in my life

Also hired a kayak and went round some cliffs, went right past a jellyfish and stayed watching it for a while (as much as I hate them I do think they're aesthetic as ****, one of the main things I look for in aquariums etc (on that note, Siam ocean world was the best aquarium I've ever been to))

On the way back I met 4 Spanish girls heading from tonsai bay to koh phangan for half moon party, stayed and drank with them for a while at ao nang while they waited for their bus

just booked my flight back to bkk for middle august. Conveniantly Emirates flies from Scotland and was at least 100 quid cheaper than anything else. That's been the case the last few times. Apparantly middle east airlines have less fuel tax costs so they are cheaper according to flight centre guy.
