I'd prefer the two on the right aswell, but if it's for free I suppose I could suffice with the two on the left if I had to
You never know, those two might look worse, but give better BJ's.
Have a few nitpicks to add to the guy that responded to my post in detail a page or two back.
First, I used to eat at a place every day that gave an entire meal for around 80 cents. More then enough to fill any of us here for at least a few hours. Also you refer to $1 portions, and then say people need to eat 3 of them to fill up. I disagree with that, but even if I did agree with it you then did the math of
100bahtx3. 100baht isn't $1, it's more like $3. So the whole day might be 300 baht, for 3 full meals a day, but not for each meal individually.
As for clubs, you listed a cover charge of 400 baht, the clubs I used to go to were just 100 baht a night cover, and 200 baht on the weekends. It's possible they have doubled in price in the 2 1/2 years since I was last there, but I doubt it.
I suppose that's mostly all small details though.
I'd say the main thing to people considering coming to Thailand for the first time is this.
If you can afford at least $700-$1000 a month or thereabouts, and don't really enjoy life wherever it is that you are currently, then come to Thailand, you will still have enough money to have a pretty solid time, and should definitely be happier over all then wherever it is you are coming from.
If you can afford even more then that, and would prefer to party 4-7 nights a week, and go a bit wild with the spending, then expect to spend more then that.
All I am saying, is that depending on your needs/wants and your preferences, it is totally possible to be happy in Bangkok/Thailand on as little as say $700 a month or so, depending on what kind of person you are.
You guys that feel you personally need 3-4k USD a month, to be happy in Thailand, that's great for you.
I'm just trying to make sure potential new comers don't get discouraged when they see those numbers, and that they realize they can be happy here on a budget.
