If any of you guys are looking for a amazing buffet dinner check out the peninsula buffet riverside in BKK. I've been there twice now and its a pretty elite experience. Has to be one of the nicest hotels in BKK. Would be a great place if you're looking to impress somebody or if your just a foodie. If you use eatigo you can get 50% off. It still cost 1200 each without any drinks included at 50% off. The alcohol is absurdly priced even water was like 150 a bottle so skip drinking unless your a bitcoin baller.

They have wagyu beef burgers and steaks that u order and they bring to your table that are the best burgers/steaks ive had in BKK(better then Arnos). Then they have a couple diff prawns that are just huge and amazing. They have other stuff as well but focusing on the beef and prawns is the best value i wouldnt go there if you dont want to eat a ton of beef/prawns. The other stuff is good but its not anything you cant get somewhere else.

Want to check it again just to be sure but if I am going for my first visa run ever in Laos to get a tourist visa I do not need the fly onward ticket correct? If I do which service do you guys recommend, I have heard on skype that one of the onward services is not doing it anymore. If unsure Id still rather have the 10 USD ticket ready just so I do not get dicked at the embassy.

Since you know you'll be in Thailand the whole duration of the visa just book a real ticket out for 90 days after you land. Fake tickets are for when you're not sure when you're leaving.

yeah flyonward is a known scam now. I used bestonward.ticket when i came in and it worked fine. Just email them first to make sure their giving u a real ticket to use if u use it. Some people were just getting reservations.

The steaks and burgers are included in the buffet. You just go tell a server at a grill station how u want it cooked and your table number and they bring them out. The steak can be cut with a butter knife it's that tender.

that's great value for 1200 baht. good steak is expensive in bangkok.

i remember you recommending that twenty seven bites buffet on here. i keep meaning to try that as well but i think they've stopped the unlimited drinks package.

If they stopped the free flowing wine and beer it's not worth 500 anymore. The value in that place was that u could drink for 4-5 hours, eat some decent grub, then stumble out to suk to continue partying.

Thats the one lol69 brought up that i had suggested awhile back. When i went a couple years ago it was 500-600 baht with the 50% off on eatigo.(11-1200 normal). At least my memory of the prices were that. The food was good but the drinks is what made the value on that place.

This place the food is a completely diff level WAY better. You can eat on the river with a sick view. The drink prices are absurdly overpriced at this place. This place is more of the just come to eat some amazing food at one of the nicest hotels in the city. For sure check it out.

I also went to a holiday inn(Silom) buffet off eatigo last year. It was like 450 each with the 50% discount. The food was equal to high school cafeteria food. So skip that one if you see it on there. I remember the ratings were decent for some reason.
