No, but The Base Condos, also near On Nut, seem great for the price and the pool is fantastic.

I can think of a 2+2er that used to live at the rhythm but has moved since bitcoin exploded. It's a nice condo but if money were no object you'd live more central. Same as the verve, I think a 2+2er is still there. Again it's nice but you'd live more central if you could. Both are steps from MRT / BTS but still, train sucks at rush hour and closes at midnight. So you still can't call them 'ideal location'. Ideal would be something next to asok / phrom phong / thonglor BTS, not Huay Khwang MRT / On Nut BTS. Like Noble Remix with it's own walkway to BTS. Or Le Luk Skywalk condo would be better than the Verve. The Base is nice too yeah but a bit of a walk to BTS.

Cheers for the info boiz. I also checked out life@sukhumvit (phra kanong) and was impressed. Don't know the good street food spots there though, which is key! Went to Le Luk too but they only had a studio available, need that divide to segregate grind/sleep amirite.

Will research the others you guys mentioned, thx again!

I would stay between nana and phrom phong.
Around nana and phrom phong there is more street food (and thai restaurants) then asok.

The best street food imo is the food court 5th floor of terminal 21 mall, so not on the street, inside with air con but its streetfood. A much wider variety and cheap 30-50 baht dishes, lots of cute girls around too.

Mexican food is severely lacking in Pattaya. BKK has a couple decent but overpriced places. Hard to get a good Mexican fix outside of the NA without paying alot IME.

Not that its real Mexican but I always have been surprised that we dont see taco bell in Thailand. Taco bell does well in S.Korea and they have one in Japan. Seems like it would be a solid option somewhere in Pattaya or Bangkok.

Taco Bell meat is on par with fancy cat food. Zambraros in BKK is good, basically a Chipotle rip off.

I never had fancy cat food but if it taste like taco bell im down for some! I see quite a few sunrise tacos and that place sucks balls. I'm pretty biased for taco bell its by far my favorite fast food place since i was a kid.

Never tried zambraros maybe ill check it out sometime. I've been to a place where they make authentic Mexican in BKK id have to dig up the name though. Not my style but it had good reviews. I prefer the Tex Mex style Mex. LA Monita is good but expensive. Think the worst is tequila reef in Pattaya(if its still open) that got me sick.

Bowlito - ground floor of the Sindhorn building, opposite US embassy. Chipolte ripoff and they do a pretty good job of it. Best I have had lately, although it seems like new places are popping up all the time and I haven't tried them all.

La Monita used to be my favorite, but it was terrible last time I went, plus way overpriced.

In pattaya, Mike's is OK. Smokin Joe's has a good fajita special on sat for 290 or something. Can choose beef brisket for the meat.

+1 to Asok being a great area. I'm about 1.5km from BTS Asok but a 20baht motorbike gets me there quick and I'm happy with it.

Terminal 21's food court is great for cheap options and there are also plenty of sit down restaurants that are good quality, too. Penguin Eat Shabu is a bit pricy at around 700baht but it's one of the best all you can eat meals I've ever had. I'm LoSo though.

Also right around Asok is the Exchange Tower which has a couple decent coffee places, a terrible gym, and street food right outside.

Give me good enough internet and I can live anywhere, .

i like the cheap cost of food/massages/training/etc.. but its often overshadowed by me spending 4k+/ some nights on drinks, women etc

Cheap gym?
I was happy to found 1.5-2k thb in bkk .. so many "fancy" overpriced..

One stupid question.. is there a bar (or some place) to get a drink but with non "working" girls?

it's not so much that sunrise tacos sucks but that it completely sucks for the prices they charge.

Nah Sunrise just sucks. I don't remember the prices being that bad but it's been a while since I was there. Four years ago it wasn't bad but going downhill. Two years ago I quit going.
