K2D *has* to be leveling with like half his posts. But I really just don't think he is.

PE's posts aren't funny either. At least he's got these things going for him though:

1. He can spell and punctuate
2. His posts contain actual information now

pretty sure the construction work is all done. brought two different people to see it, and hung out at top view for a bit, and saw or heard no construction noise.

Last time i was there which was over a year-year and half ago, they did look as nice as the pics. It is a nice development, they do feel small when you are in them but it is a change from the normal small rooms people rent.

I would guess 12k per month is for long term rentals? Not sure but i personally would not want to pay much more than that anyway. the location is a bit out fo the way and from memory you would need a bike/transport because, at the time, not many baht buses would be passing, tho it prollly has local motorcye boys now.

Most places under 1.5 mil generally yield between 8-10% per year. Most 1mil places will rent for 8-10k per month. The higher values places start to drop. the place i am renting for 22k costs about 3.5mil.

It said on the ad that 12k was for minimum 1 year.

TBH honest i did not read the ad just recognized the development, **** the ad and posted what ya wanna know. Anyway yeah 12k for 12 moon contract seems right for that. Not many people post a price and then try to ask for more, certainly not less lol, when you call to ask/view.

on another note had my most nauseous thai experience last night. opened up a a pack of lube a girl had and downed it thinking it was kamagra jelly.

ooh and ebffs and other chiang mai newbs...just hit pai for 3 days. gotta say its a pretty sweet spot - sure nightlife sucks but so does chiang mai. crowd is same bunch of trashpackers, but the place is otherwise awesome. nice markets, cheap, lots of outdoor things to do nearby. i think my ideal thai grinding rotation would be pai (or sappong) and a monthly rip to bangkok or phuket.

Took bus to pai, then rented a bike for 120. took it to cave lodge near sappong. awesome road. did the tham lod caves which are pretty freaking incredible - river flows 600 meters through pitch dark cave and they take you on a bamboo raft.

I'll just steal k2d's thunder and ask...where can you find cheapest peanut butter in thailand?

Heh, welcome to Thailand. Nothing more annoying than this, even worse with maids. Even if you bribe them heavily and let them know its NOT COOL to do that, they still will. So frustrating.

Can someone suggest a good month to month rental option in Phuket? I prefer Rawai/Nai Harn the most and after that don't have a strong preference other than I'd rather not live in Phuket Town. Budget can be up to like 20k a month for a 1 bdrm but I don't mind a cheap place either as long as it is clean. Also what are guys doing for internet in Phuket nowadays? Is there a decent option for someone staying only a short while?

Long time reader first time poster but I had to chime in when PE purchased a women's bike lol. The frame on women's bikes slant down like that where as men's bikes have a straighter frame... Cute bike tho!

so the "gf" got here celery yesterday and whatapped me saying she will treat me somewhere. She said she wanted to go on nut beer garden. I kind of puked in my mouth when I heard that, after moving to ekkamai, soon as i get out my soi i only ever take a right turn (thats towards thong lor). The thought of eating in on nut just made me shiver.

I tried to take her to one of my fav sushi buffets for 500baht per head, but no dice. Ended up going to Sabushi. Im sure everyone has been there before ITT, but im still jet lagged so cant really grind, and im an attention whore so ill post about it. The Sabushi we went to was in ekkamai, so didnt need to catch a cab, i put her on the back of my hot rod, popped a few wheels and before you know it I was in ekkamai car park.



It was something like 325 per person for 1 hour 15mins. Its a hot pot style buffet, with a below average sushi platter, but its all she can afford, and its free for me. Also have a dessert section of pineapple/water melons and a selection of 4 types of ice cream.

kind of average, id never go there myself and pay money for the buffet, prob the worst of all the buffets ive had in bkk. Not that it was horrbile, it was just bland and I think for another 150baht you can get alot better. Best beef is still my #No1 buffet in bkk in terms of value/money

its not, there are plently of men riding these bikes in bkk. I will be taking pics in the comming days to prove this and put a end to BikeGate
