Those rates are daily obv, itis very nice and as good as it looks in the pics mate. Sounds like its harder to get a room there now as they only have 12 or so, they were full for my dates in sept when I tried to book.

Thanks guys. Ya I'm not too worried about uncomfortable seats or crappy customer service (got a bottle of temazepam for that). As long as I get there and they don't lose my luggage. I'm worried more about hidden costs, like excessive excess baggage fees/ect and issues with huge delays/cancelled flights/missed connecting flights ect.
I've had to do that going through customs at the connecting flight before many times. Montreal to Cancun is like that at Miami airport.

That's a useful tip about the China airport conversions. I'm already going to a forex broker in Canada to get baht, so I'll just grab some Yuan while I'm there, enough for us to have what we want while we're waiting 6hr.

Have a new condition 24" Samsung monitor available. Its in Chiang Mai, but I shipped it up from Phuket via postoffice for ~500 baht so I guess I could ship it down again if needed. I have original box etc.

Prefer Stars but will take baht or purple bank. $100USD or rough equivalent.

Also have a spare AIS aircard that was given to me by a 2p2er who was leaving, I have no use for it anymore but if anyone wants it, its free to a good home. I expect the SIM will need replacing as they expire if they haven't been used for a few months though.

Prob a waste of time imo. Just bring some CAD with you or even a little bit of USD, most airport shops I think will accept that for sure or you can exchange it. And you don't need to bring baht to Thailand. Just exchange a litte bit of CAD at the airport and then exchange more when you get in Bangkok.
