A lot of those HIV statistics are ridiculous extrapolations of small samples. No one gives a **** to question it though, since everyone gets paid. UN gets more money, the country in question gets more money to fight the epidemic, local doctors and clinics get free money, etc. There is virtually no incentive for anyone to say that it's no big deal and that we don't want your money anymore and we should just close our billion dollar business.

15 years ago, there were stats coming out of Africa saying that 30-50% of ALL people in some African countries had HIV. But 15 years later today, it seems like none of those people are dying and those same countries continue to have explosive population growth. Somehow, the morgues and cemeteries are not filled with AIDS casualties.

Anyway, you can go for the easy girls and you can go for the hard-to-get girls anywhere in the world. If you want to spend a year dating a girl in Thailand before she will put out, there's probably more of them in Thailand than in the USA. And you have everything in between, just like in every other country.

When I was there last time, I met these two brothers whose family left Eastern Europe in early 90s. i can remember being part of a conversation where a guy was telling us about his 3 months trips to Thailand every couple of years .
Cannot remember to much about it and i did not ask any questions but basically the story is that when he arrived , he got to choose 1 women from a selection who would live with him for the duration of the stay or until either party cancelled the agreement.
