Sat at the 10,000 won min BJ table at 7luck Millennium... shoe ended way early- 3 decks left behind the cut card! 5/8 62.5% pen, what a joke! I know they have to defend against counters, but this is ridiculous.

yeah but i don't wanna put in "volume" and all that, and pay some monthly fee, and play phone tag with dozens of flakey broads...trust me. i've done this before in San Francisco, and know that game...huge waste of time, and everyone is lying about their weight, age, and so on...get some ****** whales that claimed to weigh 135, or some aged widows claiming to be 31 and in fact mid-late 40s with a doctored image of their sister on there...

i just wanna make a fair deal with someone who is a 6 or 7 but with some skills, enthusiasm...

dude, i can go down the street and pick up girls if i really wanna, but i just wanna try a Korean whore, and that's that. a PRO...in fact if i find a good one i might "pay her off" once a month or something even.

any help appreciated.

i don't care what university you majored in statistics or mathematics in, or what book you read, blackjack is a house game, period. someone's gotta keep the lights on and free drinks flowing... sure the slots are worse, and probably most of the rest barring craps (pass/come/donts only) but can you blame them for keeping their edge? you gotta look at it as entertainment and hope to not lose more than the value of the services you are getting... or maybe Mr. Wynn and Mr. Trump just built their multi-billion dollar properties out of "goodwill towards man"...

I agree with this a bit but I know on Jeju Island the Ramada had a terrible rule that if you get dealt a BJ but the house redraws to it it's a push and they don't pay. I haven't tried to do the math on how that helps them but it's pretty huge. Problem with these casinos is Koreans can't gamble so they just rip off the foreigners and anyone who has lived in Korea for more than a year knows that scams are pretty common here.

I read tons of threads about Hagwons not paying or firing people with a month to go, bosses saying women have to give them sex to get paid, taxi drivers trying to overcharge for simple rides, 1 person left their door open while cleaning and lost 300 bucks and many more.

you are missing my point completely...i'm saying the smelly...ummm.... "hoo-ha"s are online and whores at least take showers and can't lie about their 250 pound tuna bodies and so forth...

San Francisco is home to so really ****ed up crack-hos home-slice, and some real whales in suburbs that never made it out of mom's house, and worse. militant bi-curious lesbos, anyone? dude, i've had bitches scratch nail marks into my front door before, living in S.F. ...little JAPs that never had been told "no" in their 23 years until they met me, kind of thing. if you think Frisco is some kind of "Haight-Ashbury free-love market" you are 45 years too late....it is ho-heaven, and nasty hos eating "pistacios" as some rapper puts it.

i'd take any woman in this whole country over some of trash in that city.

you don't want to get me started on Hagwon rip-offs...

bottom line: ANY foreigner in this country is a "wet-back" basically, and ripe for getting screwed over...and many, many do...even "posh" women out of some hi-falutin' British university..it don't matter..you are cheap labor (and yes, compared to what they are pullin in, you are dirt cheap) and you have no rights, no recourse, an illegal contract, and no visa if they report you out of malice, dishonesty, or any other reason.

Hell, hagwon owners screw over and abuse their own kind probably even worse, in my experience. they just don't care about anything if it doesn't have a dead king on it.

The automatic house edge already takes care of the "keeping the lights on and free drinks flowing." IMO the reduced playing hands per shoe coupled with the more time shuffling is actually reducing the casinos profits.

Well, there are some who are under the impression that by counting cards they can get a slight edge, thereby removing any house edge at all...It may be true in a single deck situation, but no casinos are gonna let anyone get an edge, is what i'm saying. So they shuffle more often or in the single deck places, change the rules (maybe even money on naturals or no splitting aces, etc..). They aren't gonna let you get the edge, and that's that...so you might as well enjoy the free drinks, controlled climate and pretty dealers!

Hahapoker - is back but I would not play on that site, as it is a Korean based one with no outside overseers. Like you know how PS has the Isle of man organizations making sure its all legit. There is cake network skin fishtank.bd.to But if you want to play cash I would not play on there bc the stakes are only open to .25/.25 . Alot of chip dumping hurt the company. Ppl from the states dumping to people in Korea (it's part of Lock) .

Hey I'm graduating in two weeks with a degree in mathematics. Was wondering if its too late to apply for a teaching English program. I have some school loans and would like to pay it off with this job. Also, would like to grind some pstars online over there. Advice? Any people I could network with and are already doing some of the same things? I want to know if it's worth it.

You can apply for a job anytime. Just go on ESLcafe.com and there's a million jobs. There are other websites too but I'm not sure what they are off hand but I'm sure you can find them pretty quickly.

if you're graduating with a degree in mathematics it's probably not at all worth it financially. you can't get a job with a maths degree paying more than 2.2k a month?

Not right away. I'm still gonna need to pass some exams and such. Plus if I start my career, I feel as though i'll be stuck to the job and won't be able to travel to korea and live their for as long as I'd like. Legalized online poker in korea is also a perk to me, wanna try and start building up a bankroll

To be clear online poker in Korea is not exactly legal, it's just not completely illegal.

Also how does korean poker pro Jae Kim play poker online in korea? I read this article off of pokernews.

Yeah you're fine to play but like many countries it's a grey area and doesn't have any official legal status.

Koreans can gamble but only at a few places. Foreigners can gamble and it's no problem to cash out. Just not on a e2 visa, Teaching job.
