4. Should I read contract LOL?

Of course I can find it out later, but asked anyways before tomorrow.
1. No

2. Almost all prices you see online is somewhat negotiable, depending on your negotiating skills, length of contract, things you might need done with the apartment/house (extra furnishings, Internet) etc etc

3. Depends on the owner/agency you're going to rent through, I've paid some in cash, some with bank wire transfer (usually for larger sums), and some require a bankers check. It all depends what you agree on. I'd recommend paying as little as possible upfront as otherwise you'll somewhat lose your bargaining power if something stops working/needs fixing.

4. Yes?

Thanks, already found right one. I letted my "gf" to do all the talking and negotiating for local prices.

1. I have not faced this kind of problem. I have now 2 check in baggages, but Cebu Pacific Air did let me buy only 1. Have heard from somewhere I can split these KG as many check in baggages as much KG-s allowed? Somebody know, don´t want suprises? If not can I buy additional baggage from airport or they have some strick policies about that?

I dont think it will be a problem, unless the bags are really big. Ignore dante as I think he is thinking you have too much weight.

I meant that while booking flight I was able only add 1x check-in baggage, but maybe I was missing something. Problem is I have 2x small check-in baggages and question was can I check-in these both baggages if I am not exceeding KG I bought (for 1x check-in baggage).

Would like to know the cost of basic grocery items in Manila:
1. Milk (gallon)
2. Carton of eggs (12 pack or bigger)
3. Beef (per lb or kg, whichever they use)
4. Chicken (again, per lb or kg)
5. Fruit (apples, bananas, im not too picky, just looking for a baseline)

Also, if anyone has a gym membership id be interested in those prices as well.
Thanks!

Gym memberships are expensive if you want western amenities/facilities. There are a few fantastic, relatively cheap hardcore gyms in the $10-$35/month range and lots of terrible, rickety gyms for locals that are around $10/mont or less.

Contary to reports in this thread, I can't login to William Hill w/o VPN here in Philippines. I receive a message that bets are not accepted in my jurisdiction. Just FYI for anyone who wants to play on iPoker here.

That's right iPoker network doesn't accept PH. Many of the skins you can create an account and use their sportsbooks, casinos but not their poker part.

Yeah, but a few people in this thread said they were playing on iPoker without VPN using accounts they opened outside PI. For me at least, this isn't possible.

Hi,

I'm currently living in Boracay since 1 Year, but decided to go to Manila in around April for 3 months or so.

I'm playing Mtts and wondering if someone can tell me the best Casino for mtts in Manila. Looked already through some Threads, but most of them very old (from 2007 and stuff) and this one has 450 pages which I'm not willing to read through.

Just heard that some Casinos / Pokerrooms are bit dangerous because of Collusion and/or dangerous environment outside the Casino (Boracay is extremely safe).

Cheers, appreciate it for any hints regarding playing Live Tourneys in Manila!

There is no casino which is good for MTTs in Manila, only super small buyins which run daily or even weekly

Yea Resort world is good choice, i have been ginding there almost two weeks now but leaving on 10th to Davao. It is only room with 5%(though not much different since same caps but still). Quite many tables lowest is 25/50(bit over 0,5c/1$) and also 50/100 running allways(well been there only 4pm till 1am) usually at least one bigger table opens during the evening but sometimes it is omaha. I feel very safe there though if you ventue bit outside the newport complex it si bit slummish. I heard some ppl complaining about pavillion regardless cashouts or something. There is also MAsters in somewhere in malata and solaire should be open for big games soon

Last edited by breena; 12-08-2013 at 09:01 PM. Reason: Should just stick to posting in the Thai thread
