I recently stopped drinking too. When I decided to, I messed up the first week, but so far I've been 2 weeks without a single drink, and I drank 3+ drinks pretty much everyday. Don't really have a plan yet as far as stopping for good or just taking a hiatus and trying again.

These two weeks have been easier than I thought they would be. Staying busy helps.

I'd like to say I could be a moderate drinker again but who knows. There's alcoholism in my family so I should probably stop for good but there are people in my family that can handle it too.

I dont really have any advice or profound insight, but Im confident that if you apply yourself to finding the answer as you do to your powerlifting, you can can get it sorted.

These were brutal. Especially on my hook grip. So much pain

Floor press. Was supposed to be cgbp but that hurt my shoulder so i tried cg Floor press and that hurt as well. Regular floor press didnt really hurt

It was smart not to force the close grip. You probably have some issues to work on though. Thought about going to that ART guy?

My form changes way to much with straps i think so im going to try and work through the pain for a while. I've been using strap on my secondary dl movement for maybe 2 months and i think thats one of the reasons my dl has gotten weaker. It also aggravates my shoulder.

I dont really have enough money right now for it. Ive pretty much narrowed it down to squats+bands, pin squats, and cgbp to aggravating it so Im going to cut those out for a while and see if it helps

I would have harassed you if you had skipped that meet.

If you hit 1400+ at this meet, I think the terms our bet allow me to lift at my next local meet to determine the winner. They still havent set the damn date on that yet.

And by fake programming, I mean mike t ain't doing it anymore.
How much does he charge again? Pretty sure if I got mike t and gained 80 pounds I could take on Cha. Not sure I could eat as much as him though so not sure how to gain 80 pounds.

Ya they are down a little. Probably down about 15 lbs on each lift from last meet. My rep stuff is about 15 or 20 lbs below pr territory as well. Mike T charges 35 a week. If i have as bad as a meet as i expect, i will sign up for training with him again

How much did your coach charge when you first started posting here? The only other coaches i know who do powerlifting online training is Boris Sheiko and I think thats $400 or so per month and paul Carter who is 300 for 12 weeks. I think Andy Baker who is a SS coach charges like $250 for just a one time program consultation

Mike Robertson charges ~$1200 for 3 months. Quite a bit more than Mike T.

Last time I checked, Andy Bolton charges ~$300 for 3 months I think, and a bit more per month if you only want one or two months. That might be worth looking in to.

I think the bet was at the next meet each of us can lift. KRS was in on it too, but I think he's going to have trouble hitting 1400 any time soon after losing a bunch of BW.
