btw I fully expect many of you to play in my MCU Mishmash later this month. MCU being the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Will contain characters from 12 movies and 3 TV shows. Promises to be legendary. Been working on it for months.

Definitely agree with Monte. Also why I said I think Strength and Fatness favors the werewolves. There are a lot of new players and also a lot of players who don't post much for various reason which leads to more shots in the dark which favors the WW team a lot.


I'm guessing the WW stats where village wins 56% of the time is mostly games with at least a good portion of static members.

I think the reason wolves have won most of our games games is montes strategy of killing off competent players and then having a team of inexperienced villagers make bad decisions at the end.

And i dint know if it would work anymore as we are all more experienced.

Oh yea and I can also add you guys to the turbo skype chat if you want too

mainly we use it for reminding each other when a game's about to run and needs more players, but you could also use it for 'discussing theory' and getting better too

it was definitely not balanced

a vanilla 17er has 4 wolves and a seer

that game was like a vanilla 17er except the village had a role-blocker, an angel and a vig and the wolves had a role-blocker and a vig

what the wolves had was a lot more than what the village had

(in case it isn't obvious, a village vig is nothing compared to a wolf vig since they are about as likely to kill a villager as a wolf)

Yeah, it is not even clear you would want to use a village vig on D2 if U don't have any solid wolf reads. Probably day 3 is when things really start shaping up and there is at least 1 known wolf lurking around.

hopefully you can clear enough people and have good enough wolf reads to shoot closer to 50/50 but mathematically you almost always want to use a vig even if it's completely random

you know your own role so out of the remaining players your chance of hitting a wolf is slightly higher than the % of wolves

~25% of the time you will kill a wolf

~75% of the time you will hit a villager

the equity gained from killing the wolf is a little more than 3 times the equity lost from killing a villager

another way to look at it is to think of the vig as an extra lynch and it's often a good vig strategy to use kills to resolve wagons and kill the people the village would have lynched if it had 2 lynches

the main problem is the risk of killing another village pr

games where a vig shoots the seer are pretty brutal

It's not FPS to push someone that I thought was a wolf, and for legitimate reasons, I might add. Seers often seem wolfy.

wolf RB is one of the strongest wolf role you can have

village RB is not as useful, and like village vig, mostly detrimental to village
