MLYLT, life is...life. Sometimes it's a smooth ride, sometimes you're holding on by your fingernails. You are working full time, single parenting, exercising, traveling, and trying to have a relationship. Maybe ease up on yourself a bit?

And if you don't already, try making lists. I literally get a psychological boost from checking things off, even daily household tasks like:

1) scoop kitty litter
2) wash laundry
3) fold laundry
4) empty dishwasher

It's funny, but it's like I trick myself into doing things I don't want to do.

Not saying she won't have any issues running but it's possible for overweight people to run successfully. Just gotta be smart and start slow. Couch to 5K sounds like a good way to start.
She's like 5'6" 220, so that's you at like 295. You are correct, though, nonetheless. Loco probably strapped on his Chucks, ran 3-5 miles a day, didn't strike under his center of mass and wonders why he got shin splits, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon and an IT injury within a month of beginning and blames running instead. Why doesn't he unrack 675 lbs and tell us how bad squatting is for the joints after he gets rekked on the first rep?

She's running at an incline on a treadmill. That's about as kind of a terrain as you can get with running with regard to impact - easily doable if you program wisely, as you say. That said, in terms of weight loss at her current fitness level, she's pretty much only saving time by running over walking.

We know that you doubt that.

The recent pictures looked good, so congrats on that.

I started c25k around 230lbs. Granted I am taller than you, and had been running before, but you should be able to do if your knees feel comfortable after 30+ minutes of walking.
In case your knees or other joints hurt after a c25k workout, just do each week twice to progress more slowly and also run at a slower pace.

Thanks.

I make a to-do list first thing every morning at work, but have never done it for the house....might help.

In regards to running:
I am 5'7+1/2-3/4", not 5'6"
10-24-2017 , 09:05 PM
So 5'-7".

M,

It's kind of amazing how you always manage to somehow pick misspelled entries for even the simplest of things.

Also, weren't you starving?

It's definitely a big step that you've been able to consistently keep calories in check, but entries like that make me think you're going to put the weight back on.
10-24-2017 , 11:47 PM
Why do misspelled entries make you think I'll put the weight back on?

A lot of the entries I choose are ones that I've looked up the nutirtional info and put in.

I spent the extra effort to pick the correct spelling of schlotzkys; that's all the spelling effort I have for one day.
.....you don't want to know how I spelled it for my entry.
10-24-2017 , 11:55 PM
M,

The misspellings you pick are just funny.

That's not the reason I think you'll put the weight back on. It's the makeup of your 1150 calorie day.
10-25-2017 , 12:19 AM
Haven't you repeatedly said you were 5'9?

eta: I guess this post stuck in my memory, but it wasn't you.

I’m sorry, but the videos you’ve posted do not look like a 5’7 female at ~220. Something doesnt smell right.

Please stop pretending you are muscular/strong/etc. You are just absurdly fat. You carry basic fat people muscle mass. Keep in mind that most of your female figure competitors are on drugs. (Or Olympians for that matter.) You would need to take a substantial amount of drugs to look "bulky".
shes never going to listen to this. its way too esoteric for her to figure out. she already has it in her head that ss is powerlifting and will bulk her up and not burn enough calories.

it doesnt matter that every single person on this forum that has tried ss has had massive success at looking better, and feeling better.

just be happy that she is moving around more and seems inclinded to continue.

Lol at "something doesn't smell right"

Those videos are me sitting the phone on the DB rack about 2ft off the ground and angled up. I'm going to look larger at that angle than straight ahead, so unless I'm sitting on your face you shouldn't be concerned with it.

Such a raw graphic image. Thanks Op.

She has a point. If something doesn't smell right when someone's sitting on your face, it's a good time to be concerned.

The time to be concerned is prior to the facesitting. By then it's a little late.
