I'm currently enjoying a Sam Adams Summer Ale out of a Sam Variety pack.

It's the best in the pack. Yum

Also, I have been watching a lot of Metalocalypse lately. I'm pretty sure Soulman is the Norwegian rhythm guitarist Toki.

What are the other options? I'm a big fan of Sam Winter.

Today was the first day that I ate an entire carton of eggs. And 1/4 pound of bacon. The little one is finally growing.

Sam summer ale is good

It's got regular, light, summer, blackberry witbeer, pale ale and the new IPA. The IPA is a little hoppy for my taste but I really like the pale ale, too. The blackberry one is gross. Didn't try the light but I assume it's fine because when I looked it up and had hardly any less calories than the regular compared to regular beer and their respective light versions.

Sam Summer was the beer that made me first realize that beer can be awesome. For that it will always hold an awesome nostalgic place in my heart.

Sad to hear the blackberry sucks. Kinda wanted to try it.

Sam Light is definitely a reasonable beer. Octoberfest is prob my favorite seasonal, though.

I tried to get this for the longest time. I finally went to a local liquor warehouse and asked them about it. The said that Sam Adams is so picky about the quality if their beer that they don't even like shipping the octoberfest over to this side of the country (cali) because if it isn't consumed right away then it isn't any good.

Last year I finally found some at a high end super market. I bought all of it and they haven't had any since. Hopefully I can grab it up next time it comes in, in a couple months or so.

YUM

That's crazy, I've had no problems getting it here in Vegas and it's not like we're that much farther east.

Still kicking myself that I never got my ass out to the Sam Adams brewery while I was in Boston. Oh well, maybe this October! Octoberfest fresh from the source!

Did some really awesome Rock Olympics yesterday. I mentioned these last summer, I'll explain again what this is.

Find a big rock. I used two different ones yesterday, one was about 55 pounds, one was about 70 pounds. This is best at a swimming hole with a place to jump into the water. Start at the shore carrying the rock. Walk with the rock into the deepest part of the water, which should be right by the area you jump off. Figure out a way to climb to the top of the jumping point with the rock. This is preferably 10-20 feet above the water. Once you get the rock to the top, press it above your head and throw it into the deep water. Jump in, retrieve the rock and walk it back to shore.

I think I am going to bring my 70 pound kettlebell to do this next time.

I am also going to film it next time.

Also, I reserve the right to change my log title before Smiley disallows it.

Alright fools. That's the last custom log name title change. If you want the name of your log changed it better be to "xxxxxxxxx's Log" otherwise I ain't doing it.

Phew good thing I got that in there before you made that rule.

I plan on getting it changed later though, not now.

Settle a dispute for me guys. What is weirder:

- Strawberry Jam and cheese on toast (me)

- bits of ripped up toast in porridge (my GF)

Wtf is porridge? Is it like oatmeal?

I think yours sounds weirder but I'd probably eat both

um, yeah I think so. Quakers is a brand that makes it. Rolled oats in milk basically, usually heated.

Wouldn't that just result in soggy bread in your porridge? I think the jam+cheese is less weird and possibly not weird at all.

Jam and cheese is a fine combo imo (used to eat this a bunch), unless you're talking heated. Toast in porridge is a bit
