Hopefully Monte can keep up with me just to make things interesting before I take down the challenge.

Solid leg session today even given the time restraints. fk'in gym closes @ 6pm on sundays.

First time attempting Sumo DL's. Do you guys think I should stick to these or go back to conventional? Pretty pissed at the camera angle, soab. Also, first time scrapping the chit out of my shins.

I watched the first 3 seconds of your sumo pull and it looks way better and safer.

But I think you should go back to conventional. You're way too young in your training career to be giving up on such a valuable exercise. Man up and just learn how to deadlift.

Yeah, I thought so too. What do you think about getting my form straightened out on SDL's first then go back to conventional? Is that just wasting time? I am all for growing a set of testicles and doing conventional DL but I need serious help lol.

I'm going to defer to more knowledgeable people on DLs. I would guess it's a valid stepping stone (can be looked at like a partial). Although maybe just DLing off blocks would be a better stepping stone (blocks elevating the weights not your body, like a rack pull but lower). If you should even use a stepping stone. I guess it depends if you have the mobility or not. If you do, then figure out how to deadlift. If you don't, then do a partial while working on your mobility.

Pretty sure I have crappy mobility. I believe it is slowly improving but who knows. Been using the foam rollers twice a week before I start my leg session. Usually do it for 20-40 mins.

Feeling anything in your lumbar region doing SLDL? With your DL issues, I'd think that might not be the best exercise for you.

Are you getting dat depth on your squat?

Thanks but it's an old pic lol. My abs don't look like that no one. That bulk is taking its toll, you will be telling me to cut cut cut before you know it. Your theory would be true if this pic was recent haha. Agree with the bolded tho.

SLDL? i thought it was SDL. No not as much, It feels a lot more comfortable having my hands in more. My back seems to be in a better position but still not that great. Did you see the video I posted last week on them? It was the first time I did Sumo DLs. Squats are a lot better but I struggle on 245 which gets me annoyed. I'll record some next session later on in the week.

SLDL is stiff legged deadlift. Sumo is sumo. Get abbreviations right bro.

SDL? No one knows what the fack that is, no such thing. It's sumo.

yeah sumo is what I meant

edit: trying to figure out if loco's outbursts are from lack of carbs or if my fishy tendencies rustled his jimmies

I think I've brought it up twice now how your fat intake does not make a bulk lean or not. The small calorie surplus is how you stay lean.

I am anticarbs. EV is antifat. And SAW is basically antiprotein. There you have it, three new musketeers.

Everyone that trains for aesthetics goes through an anti-carb phase. It usually ends when they realize aesthetics cannot be acquired without performance, and non-jelly dick performance cannot be acquired without carbs. Or creatine. But if I were trying to exist at 8% bodyfat I'm kind of with Loco, my macros would probably be like 45% p, 40% f, 15% c.
