Flight out of Anchorage has been delayed 4 hours. Not even weather related, said it was some maintenance issue. Thanks Obama.

How could being dealt 20 hands an hour not feel like watching paint dry if one's used to seeing 1000+ hands an hour?

Add to that the general boringness of donkament play with shallow stacks.

There's a reason why all live players are stoned to the gills.

I love the dynamics of live play. The chatter. The lolaments seeing people tilt IRL. And there's always at least one good natured person at the table (two if you count me). Of course I also only play maybe once a year.

Sure but online you get to witness people typing ASDFGHJJKLLASDFGREES **** THIS **** ALWAYS SUCKINK OUT I ****ED UR MUM LAST NIGHT I HOPE U GET CANCER ASDFGHJKLL HOUSEPLAYER **** YOU SO ROGGED I REPORT U I HOPE U GET CANCER ***** ****! KILL U, TO LATE AX IN CAR.

So, there's that.

That said, I wish there were more casinos here as live cash doesn't sound too horrible.

The F.D.A. often takes the advice of such panels.

If you have a good table and are drinking, yes.

Or if you generally enjoy the presence of other humans, I suppose...

Live poker is the nut low.
09-18-2014 , 10:01 AM
Poker is fun for everyone.

I legit don't get people that don't like playing live poker; you even hate home games?

Bzzt rusty. 2p2/poker reference missed. I am sorry to say that you are again fired. Please see Rebecca in HR about benefits. Steve here will make sure you don't shoot anyone on the way out.

I even hate* homepages at Cha's. And he has a beer fridge and is a very cool dude.

*That is way too strong. I like but am mildly frustrated by homegames at Cha's. I'd rather be lifting or watching basketball or playing almost anything else, lol.

I find homegames to be hit or miss. Sometimes fun with the right company, sometimes insufferable. Guess it all depends on the stakes.

IRL pokerz are fun though. I used to hate on it until I tried it. Then I loved it. It's a lot like listening to downtown for advice.

Hell I barely read the Poker forums anymore and even I knew the Poker Is Fun For Everyone reference.

Homegames: either too low steaks OR gonna get robbed. This is not Nam. There are casinos.

There's a difference between a live casino game vs a home game. Home games are fun because you're donking around with friends as opposed to being slightly more serious about your game with a bunch of strangers
09-18-2014 , 12:59 PM
Yeah what is this 1986? Casinos or gtfo. Free dranks. Free entertainment. I went to one casino on the old strip where the dealers were hawt girls dressed in burlesque outfits.

I guess I just have fond memories of the Asian Game back in NJ. The wifeacore doesn't appreciate how much of a pay cut we took moving here.
09-18-2014 , 01:06 PM
Casino privilege ITT.

Get robbed for your stack once every blue moon or get robbed $5 + tips from every pot in perpetuity?

It's problem.
