They're just trolling you. And me. Saying I have a 910 total at something like 110lbs (IIRC you are 220?). LOL. I am also 5'11". Sure I'm no giant like Monte or DT, but still not close to loco-like midget size.

Yeah lol at being scared to fail a squat. Fail the rep? Slowly descend until the bar rests on the safety pins. I did **** myself over the first time I failed a squat because I set the pins suuuuuuuper low and couldn't simply lower it onto the pins.

BtM, plz join with testing/videoing 1RMs, but you confirmed you are already in the 1k club so your lifts won't count unless you get close to 1300.

Two and a half plates is a more reasonable goal, but baby steps are probably best for someone in your position.

Suck up your pride and drop back to 1 plate. You can't just drop to parallel after a lifetime of half squats. You'll have to spend a few months working your way back up, but with perseverance and nomzies, you should be back up to 1.5 plates in a few years.
