Clean dls were stupid easy obv. Front squats were actually supposed to be even heavier but I'm pretty happy with this performance

Snatches felt nice but my shoulders were absolutely fried for jerks so they were awful. Squatting at the end of a workout is ****ty.

Snatches were my best in a while. Some were really spot on but others were forward.

Cj idk. Missing the first 215 clean was a fluke but missing the jerks wasn't.

Snatches I was pulling plenty high but dive bombing to the bottom instead of controlling it. Cj was all over the place

Have some deadlines at work and daily 5-6 meetings for the foreseeable future. I've worked like 30 hrs so far this week and today was the first day I could lift this week. LOL coding slappies as kc would say.

The ma strength dude told me my speed was average in a very negative way. So I've been getting terrible vibes watching myself on video while also trying to implement the changes he gave me. Mite b a bad idea

Nah that's always a good thing.

Basically I'm trying to execute some small but significant enough changes to my form that the positions look/feel a bit different. I don't want my quest for speed to get in the way of proper positions

Had some solid snatch practice today. I worked up to 175x1x2 w no misses which is already really solid before my coach helped me with some stuff.

I was concentrating on starting on the balls of my feet but noticed that I was sweeping the bar in a lot and extending slowly. Basically I would start with proper weight distribution but shift back to my heels mid pull.

I did some light ones after this that felt weird but very good. Next time I go in to snatch I'll take some more video and compare to see if it looks as different as it feels. Its really a shame how infrequently I get any coaching because the dude is very good.
