I think the Nathan drake collection bundle is the cheapest, saw it as a target black Friday bundle for 299

Kohl's has the Uncharted PS4 Bundle for $299.99 on Black Friday. You also get $15 Kohl's Bucks for every $50 spent. Here's what I did (stolen from slickdeals):

1) I went to Kohl's and bought an Uncharted PS4 Bundle for $349.99. Got $105 in Kohl's Bucks.

2) Filed a Price Protection Claim with my credit card for the $50 discount (Chase Freedom). Involved a 15-minute phone call and sending out a little paperwork.

So I'll get the Bundle for $299.99 and still keep the $105 Kohl's Bucks. I plan on using some of the Kohl's Bucks to get an extra controller which you can order online next week.

Is it 299.99 in store only black Friday? I have capital one, not sure if they have the price protection thing?

you would have to look at the terms for your card online. The most popular cards for price protection is the Discover IT card. I know Citi has one as well, and I guess Chase does too. You will also need to check to see if "black friday" offers are included.

I believe Amazon is going to have the same deal.

Overstock.com will have the $299.99 deal as well. Definitely check with your card provider like imjosh mentioned if you are planning on using the price protection.

Many believe they will eventually drop the VR support after they realize it isn't doable under the restraints VR places on development.

I hope they are wrong, because it does look pretty cool.

That is an insane deal. Same one last year had TLOU:Remastered and GTAV for $399. Had I not done that, I sure as hell would've done this one.

Total game pickups this Black Friday week:

Brothers - Free with $15 off Amazon promo using Chase UR
Lego Marvel Supherheroes - Free with $15 off Amazon promo using Chase UR (wife's card)
Plants vs Zombies: GW - $8 (Walmart)
Guitar Hero Live + Bonus Mic - $56 (BestBuy)
Witcher 3 - $20 (BestBuy)
Until Dawn - $16 (BestBuy)
WWE 2K16 - $24 (BestBuy)
Helldivers - $16 (BestBuy, it is actually $15 at Amazon apparently)

I wanted to get TLOU also but the best deal I could find for a hard copy (which i prefer for the most part), was $25 at Walmart. I'm hoping for it to drop closer to the digital version before I pick it up, in the meantime these new additions should keep me and my wife very busy, since we were getting tired of Diablo 3. It was a very good co-op game though.

Thoughts on Metal Gear Solid V: ground zeroes? This isn't included with Phantom Pain right?

No, and it's super short. It's basically like one large base in Phantom Pain. The playtime is probably <2 hours at a normal pace. It's the same quality as Phantom Pain, it's just that it's basically a glorified demo.

Will they likely make a MGSV complete edition or some such thing with both games in 2016?

I have no idea. I would just get Phantom Pain and wait until Ground Zeroes is five bucks used or something
I don't think Ground Zeroes is even 5% of the size of PP. Unless you're a huge Metal Gear fan who really wants to play every bit of the series, you won't be missing much.

Watching a playthrough of GZ on youtube (with cutscenes!) is probably a good idea if you aren't going to get it - it is mostly cutscenes and sets the stage for Phantom Pain, takes place immediately prior in the timeline.

Still good fun though. Wait until it's free of $5.

Some of the stuff transfers into your copy of MGSV, too. I'm not sure what all this does, exactly, tho.

The parade of crap games continues. Gauntlet and King's Quest Chapter 1.

It's bad enough they are releasing ****ty games, but now they are only releasing 1/5 of ****ty games???

(Insert reply complaining about me ****ty quality of free games here)

If I didn't play mostly online, I would NEVER pay for PS plus.

PS Plus is probably the best investment I make every year.

Even if it didn't have online, it costs $50 for 30 to 40 free games a year, plus a heap of discounted games.

I'm not sure what you want for less than $5 a month. Of course they aren't going to give you NBA2k16 or something big.

I think expecting some AAA games that are showing their relative age at this point is pretty reasonable. Like, Infamous:SS is almost two years old, it would be a good candidate. Nobody expects NBA 2K16 but why not NBA 2K15? Or Battlefield 4? People aren't going to be buying those at retail anymore and they'd be a solid value (possibly even a win for the publishers since if you like 15, maybe you'd go and buy 16).
