The 8 hours effected my usual playing time and when psn for PS3 went down for a month or whatever it was they gave out free games that were pretty lame. I didn't have ps4 till recently so no clue bout that. That 8 hrs was effectively 1 day for a lot of gamers as it was during peak playing hours. I had irl friends texting "wtf psn is down" as they don't really internet much. I don't expact anything from them really, except to keep their networks up so I can play as I payed for it.

I haven't touched almost any of the PS+ free games for the last year, but I've been playing Gauntlet: Slayer Edition quite a bit at night in the last few days and its freaking awesome. I remember playing this way back in the day and never got very far but I really dug it.

Also, this month's has Grim Fandango Remastered, which is apparently one of the GOATs. Won't be able to play it for awhile, but I'm looking forward to it.

I thought gauntlet was great, but it got old after prob 10-15 hours of play for me. Helldivers is the same devs (similar game, much different (starship troopers-esque) setting), and far superior - but obv less population having not been on PS+. Magica 2 was on PS+ I believe? that's the same people too (and prob very similar game lol).

I was planning to platinum gauntlet, but after 2 hours of play, event with friends that were emjoying it, I was already bored.

Yeah, Magika 2 was another free co-op game. Better then Gauntlet. Another fast one from PS+ is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, or something like that. Pretty cool as well.

I wouldn't play these co-ops too much, but I go into ultra-try-hard mode when I'm playing TLOU:Factions, so I can't really play with a lot of friends in it

Did anyone jump on the Plants vs. Zombies2 Multiplayer beta? Was pretty damn fun. I only played once for a couple of hours, but its definitely a snap-buy when it releases.

Also, Saints Row Re-elected and Gat Out Of Hell are for sale for $9. I wasn't thinking of getting that game, but for $9, I couldn't not get it.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for $24!!!

I've been considering this since I loved #1 so much, but didn't want to deal with a disc. I miss on a few of the sales in the past and wasn't even looking for it tonight. But when that price popped up, I couldn't wait!! 22GB though, so I won't even be able to play it for awhile. Totally worth it!!

I played about 1/2 of BL2 on a friends PC when it first came out, but haven't touched it since. Been wanting to though. Between the main campaign and the DLC's, BL1 is easily in the top 5 of most played games of my life.
