Closing in on level 72, all I have left in merciless is the Library quest and Dominus. So after that you just run maps forever?

Gotta say, merciless doesn't really feel that merciless. I played up to Inferno Act 2 in Diablo 3 and it was pretty clear they only wanted a small portion of the player base to get all the way to the end. With PoE it still feels like all the enemies are totally inconsequential, then once every 4-5 zone there's some random rare or boss monster that can spam lightning traps, or flicker strike from offscreen with crazy mods, or whatever else, and just snap kill you from offscreen.

I did struggle at a few different points, but pretty much every time I did, I opened my inventory screen, saw I hadn't updated any of my gear in 20+ levels, outfitted myself in gear more appropriate to my level, and went back to breezing through content.

You're an EK scion with AA/EB/MOM, and you've hit where your character should be god-like. What do you expect?

Plus, in this game, the "inferno mode" is the level 70+ maps. They are way harder than merciless zones.

I did a couple of level 66 maps with Guested, yesterday. If he wasn't there, I would have died or never finished it at my level. Maps were way harder than the zones that I've been in.

81 here and while it is very (very) safe, it is anything but godlike, but then again, I'm running around with self found gear and no 5L. either way, you try the wrong mods on a map and things get interesting fast.

To the first point, she had the pics taken and without much resistance allowed them to be passed around. It wasn't some malicious computer nerd hacking her account and distributing them to everyone as you seem to be inferring with this statement. I shelled out for a 5L and being able to run EK + Faster Projectiles + Fire Damage + Life Leech + Faster Casting is pretty bananas.

Only thing I did wrong is that I was so happy to find a linked RRGGB at a decent price after looking for awhile, I settled for an armor/evasion combo and really wish now that it had some energy shield.

Unfortuately people are straight up ******ed when it comes to pricing gear they find, so I'm sure it'll be awhile before I find a replacement at a fair price.

yeah, truth be told, I actually have a RRGGB 5L armor on my ranger, but it's all evasion and it absolutely destroys my ES pulling the 550ES chest off I use. I have a lot more gear now though since the last time I tried so I'm going to give it another shot after patch and see if I can make it work. if I cant walk without mana drain and keep full resists I get visible mad.

holy ****ing domino's my head hurts. still 10 down on fire.

ok, back to capped resists. lost 400 unreserved mana & 200 hp, but picked up 900dps and most importantly for my patience, went from .7 secs per cast to .56 and much closer to not feeling like I'm stuck in mud all the time.

3300hp, 3500/880 mana, 5218 dps

I have a 72 crit dagger and a 25 ranger if anybody wants to group. My crit dagger is probably geared enough to do beginner maps and my ranger will eventually be cast on crit when she hits 31.

finnnallllly found a replace decoy totem for the one I over leveled and made useless with CoDT. Then I realized that since I had been playing with the skellies, I had forgotten about enduring cry. lol, the combination of getting those two back is fairly key to dmg reduction

decoy totem itself is fairly useless on a level limited cwdt. It's ok if you can max it out though.
