these league uniques are confusing as hell, but they seem interesting

you'll be able to beast-craft those "aspect auras" on rares.

I always forget but the uniques that dont specifically say that it grants the aspect, don't.

You have to get it somewhere else. And then those uniques often give buffs to it.

theyre not actual sets. Sets are awful for the game

but one of the uniques from each set does make the aspect aura available afaik.

And we've seen crafted amulets with aspects

If I buy a stash tab now, does that persist into the new league, or are they a thing that resets with the league (and a new one would just collapse to standard)?

Tab purchases are permanent.

Oddly I am not hyped for the first time for a new league lol.

I am even up in the air if I'll even play at the beginning and not just grind the children's card game. I guess I'm getting bored of the same old **** as far as builds go. ;/. Though I'm strongly considering playing softcore for the first time as a league start since there's more freedom.

OK, I got another n00b question. I guess tonight we got shipped down to standard instead of playing in abyss league. Why did my hideout disappear, and how do I get it back? All of my masters seem to be at level 2 now, and I can't level them up.

That's not entirely a noob question. There are a lot of things in standard that don't make any sense to me. I can't make heads or tails of my standard atlas right now. I also can't seem to get rid of my empty remove-only map tab.

I think your hideout decorations should still be available to you. I thought masters added experience from the league to their totals once league ended, but I guess I'm not sure.

if you remove everything from a remove-only tab it will disappear on next login

Yeah, it's weird. I didn't have any masters leveled all the way up, and when I encountered a couple in the wild and did their quests, they remained a single point below level 3. And Elereon, whose hideout I was using, isn't appearing in town at all. I also lost credit for all the trials of ascendancy I'd done towards the lab I hadn't finished.

All these ascendancy updates have left me completely torn on what I want to play.

Probably means I'll end this league with 10+ crappy characters and no currency hyped!

The map tabs seemed bugged in this regard. I took like 800 maps out of a map tab (dunno why) but it won't go away even though everything is 0.

Map stash is annoying me in standard. As you can set it to different leagues, it would be nice to be able to store old maps in it, but you can only change it when it's empty.

very exciting juggernaut and scion reworks.

Both are extremely strong now (scion mostly means theres a ton of new "archetypes" that are relevant

Being a filthy casual I can either decide to do some weak ass starter build that gets me to low level red maps and grind for literally nothing or go for another Uber Lab build and just pray I get three different +2/3 molten strikes enchants and make 40 Ex in a week again.

I had never bothered to learn anything about Ascendant. I think it got a lot of buffs. Viable?

Yes, and it was already very viable but not many combinations were good.

For example, Champion+inquisitor is now actually bonkers for the frostblades builds i was doing.

There's a lot of them. IMO pick what kind of playstyle/skills you want to use, then check which scions would best fit. Then see if another class would do better you think.

Also scion starts still has the possbiility of getting like 3 times that jewel that makes your Notables do nothing but buffs everything in range (the crit multis on the right of scion for example become huge with two of the unique jewels in their range) and also the life on the left is nice.

Personally I think shield throw is slightly weak with scion compared to other options.

I'll be going Deadeye shield throw and most likely stream for like 20 hours a day first 3 days... let me know if anyones interested

can give you a few build ideas BEFORE tho. Tectonic slam with the new juggernaut seems completely bonkers and fun for example, but like shield throw we of course have zero actual footage or practice with it. (even works with facebreakers! )
