I am judging Nats soon and am not to up to speed on TII.

Does anyone have a link to a good overview of what is happenin in T II atm?

Any funny rulings that come up often atm? (eg in interaction between March of Machines and artifact lands)

Does anyone feel like explaining layers?

If you don't have a grasp on L1 judge material, you probably shouldn't judge Nats IMO.

Dunno if you're doing M11 limited as well, but one thing that was specifically pointed out to us during a recent GP was the interaction with Frost Titans ability (unless you pay 2 extra, abilities or spells targting him is cancelled).

You need to give your opponent a chance to respond to this and not "assume" anything.

how does infect work? Is it like wither for creatures, but if a player is hit they get poison counters instead of losing life?

would cut gg for gargoyl setinal and negate, try to pick up a late unsummon, ug needs that and sleep pretty badly

I needed to pick up a cultivate from a bot today for a singleton deck; yet I've done enough m11 drafts to pick up 42 m11 cancels/40 ice cages and 37 negates, go figure

I never play it in aggro blue decks.

I tend to force ophidian-guy and between them, manowar guy and cloud elementals I don't have room or want another 3 drop.

If you have the mana to actually use gargoyle sentinels jump ability then you're doing something wrong with that deck.

I'm also not real fond of him in other archetypes but in m11 I tend to be the aggro deck.

Holy crap I just realized Protean Hydra doesn't ever die to damage if you put any +0/+X spells on it. I couldn't figure out how his spitfire couldn't kill my ascended one.

what do you think of this

this pool is a bit ridiculous and, not playing outrage+titan+bolt seems pretty aweful but red is so shallow here

unsummon might not be so hot here with so much removal but I love that card; and idk if splashing doomblade is worth the hit to consistancy, yet I don't want to play any other card



also kurosh pick the gladiator, it is a huge bomb and wild griffen is unexciting; I might pick pacifism over gladiator for color concerns but no reason not to pick the game winner over a 2/2. Would pick up the unsummon over the expanse in pack two, your deck isn't too heavy on the color commitments and every deck needs unsummon

Red sucks and gladiator pretty much requires mono red. Didn't want to force a ****ty color.

Imo, Gargoyle/Black Knight are close to being the best cards in P1P1. But, with griffin, I cut white. I leave gravedigger with black knight. Black Knight may have been the better pick. I thought about it for a while.

You could do -doomblade +diminish. It's going to be pretty tough to play it with only 1 swamp, 1 expanse and owl.

i would've played black and red, maybe splashing pacifism and condemn but it's probably not necessary. your white is pretty good but kinda shallow and blue is pretty middling outside of the mind control. having 2 ember hauler, bolt, combust, outrage, titan, trike, doomblade, assasinate, quag sickness, and 2 act of treason + vampire and seer seems better to me, and the deck is more naturally aggressive
