Jace + titans, if it was in M12 it might be a pretty big deal but they didnt. Might be too good against the creature types likely to be in innistrad.

10 swamp
17 contract from below
28 dark ritual
5 drain life

It's almost always first turn win, and then your "life loss" carries over to the next duel in the dungeon.

Any idea if this will work on a Mac?

I found a 2009 version on a certain Johnny Depp themed torrent site.

Odd I have to burn the file to a disk to install, I guess I'll try tomorrow.

Just had to restart the comp, works great. If you want to play the Microprose game, the 2009 version is the way to go.

Is it an update form the 98 version or a new game? I wanted to play the old Shandalar duel of the plainswalkers.

edit* nvm looking at the description for what you downloaded. Looks like the right idea! Will give it a try.

he just got back to me. it's called lackey. you guys have any experience with it?

Magic Workstation (mws) is definitely the most common one. Haven't heard of lackey, so I assume it can't be very widespread.

I've asked this before...but I'll try again. Anyone tell me of a bot program available that can be set to sell X for 1...like 50 for 1 commons or 8 for 1 uncommons or something?

The newest version is called Cockatrice. It's better than Apprentice, MWS, or Lackey (or so I'm told in regards to Lackey)

It updates with new sets with the click of a button. Has pictures on each card. Easy to deckbuild with like Apprentice used to be. I'm a huge fan.

does anybody use it? The only site I could find where you would use these programs is Magic League and they use MWS afaik.

Are you looking to play tournaments or something beyond testing and friendly games? If so then just use whatever interface platform the tournament host requires. If you're looking for just testing/friendly games then Cockatrice is probably the best free platform.

anyone interested in buying my tier 1 deck for som block constructed? it's a monoB infect deck used by Gaudenis Vidugiris who was one of the top 8 for the som block constructed portion of the PTQ at Nagoya a month ago (5th one down): http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazin.../topblockdecks

he talks more about how the deck works here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_Bv3FHqiNA

it's basically the cheapest tier 1 deck you can buy for SoM Block, priced at roughly $50. The T1 decks are Puresteel paladin (~$200), tempered steel (~$130), big red (~$150), and ub control (~$200). Numbers are off the top my head of what I could remember when I was trying to find the cheapest tier 1 deck to buy for SoM block. If you want more details, I can go take a look at it more in-depth for you.

I'll be selling the deck for w/e the market value is. Doing it because I've ended up with a job and don't have the time I used to have to play anymore. SoM block is pretty fun, it's a good cheap alternative for someone who wants to go into standard but doesn't want to spend $400+ for tier 1 decks over there... and would rather wait for the rotation. Though I hear Jace and stoneforge got banned so i'm not sure what and how much the tier 1 standard decks are nowadays. Unlike pauper, you can get experience w/ cards that'll be in standard, so I guess the transition will be easier.

lmk if you're interested.
