Didn't they just release a remastered version of RCT?

I was thinking of getting one for my tv that would be on my wireless network while my PC is wired. Does it work that way or do they have to be the same?

This is how I had it set up in our last apartment and it worked well. The apartment was tiny though, so keep that in mind.

Our newer apartment still has the TV close to the WiFi router, but since I found a sale on 5-port switches I’m just going wired in the near future. Amazon had some $17 switches, plus a pack of cables. Not too bad, considering what I saved by buying the steam device on sale.

Bought today Dark Souls 2, Hollow Knight, Thief 1 & 2 as they were under 1€ each and Dishonored base without DLC.

I loved 2 but put 3 down pretty quickly because I was finding it tedious to play. My patience for extraneous **** in games has gotten really low.

I remember when Stellaris 1st came out a lot of people were lukewarm on it. Has it improved since release to the point it's worth picking up during the sale? and if so how necessary are the DLC's to make it playable?

Completely playable without DLC. Of course, each DLC improves the game, but if you don't like the game without DLC, you won't like it with DLC either.

in shocking "loki doesn't like a new game" news, witcher 3 is my 2nd steam refund ever. First was for Shadow of Mordor, which I only returned because somewhere else had it cheaper.

yea but this game seems way prettier and more in depth. It also heavily utilizes the steam store for sharing parks/rides/buildings/whatevers, which I'm not sure if RCT does but it's pretty amazing.

Had to dig a bit, but found a few games to buy this sale. I've been wanting to check out The Long Dark for a long time, but my old PC couldn't handle it. Picked that up. I was also able to game the bundle prices for Grow Up and Scanner Sombre so picked those up super cheap.

I think you should refund the Long Dark and get it for $12 from Humble Monthly along with Quantum Break and Warhammer 40k Dawn of War III guaranteed. And plus 6-8 games which should give something cool too. A week left.

https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly

Sorry if you knew that.

Steam link on a wired connection confirmed smooth as butter. I’m curious if big picture mode is going straight from PC to device or if it’s having to hit the router along the way. I would assume as it goes over two switches it just gets routed via MAC, but I dunno

Saw 'They are billions' on stream and impulse purchased. Had played zombie defence sc2 mods before and this game did not disappoint. Probably put 25 hours into the game over the last week and not made it past night ~36 yet. Good distraction game that doesn't require insane apm and is pretty watching tv friendly etc.

Thanks for review. Caught my eye too, but seeing it was early access just wish listed it for now.

I would mention that it is direly missing a multiplayer option. Most people play with pausing (while base building mostly but i guess you can spam pause in combat too) which is not really multiplayer friendly. I don't and really wish there was like a 3-4 person mode. According to the stuff I have read they are planning a single person campaign mode, where I guess you unlock stuff differently and there are ~infinite nights (and character progression of some sort I think?). I guess what I am saying is there doesn't seem to be any plans for a multiplayer mode.

It is early access, but the survival mode that everyone is playing is complete. They are working on a campaign mode with challenges and things like that, but the mode they have released is a what they claim to be a complete version, however I can't see them not coming back to it and making an endless mode at some point.

Kind of annoyed that it's still in Early Access, but Distance (http://store.steampowered.com/app/233610/Distance/) is a racing game that I come back to often. It's $10 now at 50% off, not sure if it will be more expensive out of EA as with The Long Dark. Only mentioning it because it isn't often talked about and I feel that there aren't many solid arcade driving games. It has tight controls and a kickass soundtrack. The devs are very active, but they're simply a small team which I guess is why they haven't finished yet.

Someone had mentioned having an account hacked under similar circumstances, can’t remember the details but I believe it was via CD key

Those links aren't using https:// which is the first warning sign to me, beyond the sketchiness of the whole thing. Companies with a security expert/team will never have you click a link to login to their site in that fashion.

I suspect they are either misspelled or some other shenanigans. Can't imagine that's legit, though Googling it should be helpful.
