Regarding RTS:

I haven't played it but I plan on buying World in Conflict.

It's a bit sad but as a whole the genre seems to be pretty dead. It seems that like 10 years ago, Starcraft/Warcraft/C&C were the most popular games around.

But now it seems like the C&C series is nothing but a joke. I wasn't too impressed with SC2 either. It's okay, but I felt like I was just playing it for old time's sake.

No - I just happened to buy a game that had an achievement associated with the gift promo. It was a cheap game that looked like fun. It is.

It looks like if you were already in the Holiday 2011 group, you don't get credit for completing the objective. If you leave the group and rejoin you'll get credit for it.

Debating Arkham City as well. Was planning on getting it for a 360 as my primary computer is a 3 year old Laptop that turns into a fireball (busted GPU fan) when doing intense gaming. It's holding up OK with Portal 2 though...

Did 2 more achievements today, got 2 more pieces of coal, making 7. Crafted them and I got a copy of Deux Ex 1. Anyone want it? I don't feel like making a 6th steam account to see what I get when I gift this to myself.
