Breaking down heavy exotics that cause fire damage is not good because the next raid is fire burn by all accounts.

I failed miserably on the nightfall this week. I've got a legendary arc sniper but it isn't leveled up yet, but my legendary arc rocket launcher is almost maxed out.

Anyone want to run it later?

Lol, I tried to invite you to party since I was attempting the strike with a random. I figured out how to view messages now though, you have to hold the middle button

. Then when he quit since we failed a couple of times you were offline.

WTF you can't join party until level 20 (party is just for talking correct- different from game invite?). I only found out recently that you can't talk to people unless you invite them to fireteam/party lol- I always wondered why no one would talk to me

I think that's an awful awful feature in a game that's supposed to be all about interacting with others.

You can join a team just couldn't do those strikes. How come it just told me 20 is maximum level?

Who is it? 20 is the highest level based on experience. Then you level up based on how much light your armor has (you start picking up/getting engrams for armor that has light).

Is Suros worth it if I have Hard light and Thorn. I have a lvl 24 Titan, 26 hunter and 28 warlock, I wouldn't mind continuing to swap weapons but I'm thinking of just distributing amongst them.

I have Vanquisher and Hard Light both upgraded and I like my Vanquisher more. Most people seem to say they prefer Suros to Vanquisher by a little bit so it seems like it probably goes Suros > Vanquisher > Hard Light. I really like my Hard Light though and it has served me well. Clip size is great but impact is a tad too low.

So long as you have some arc weapons, 28 Nightfall is easier than the 28 Heroic this week. This week's Heroic is truly nasty, with lightswitch modifier and tons of melee enemies. Wizards are brutal though in the Nightfall.

Here is a trick to dismantling: Acquire enough experience with the item you plan on dismantling to "fully" upgrade it. Just don't actually take any of the upgrades. Now dismantle it. You'll get more ascendants as a result. If it's a weapon you might get a telemetry too.

Now for another uber tip. Say you get a brand new exotic weapon but you're desperate to level it. Well, complete as many 5k bounties as you can, on as many characters as you can. Now use the telemetry for that weapon and complete all the bounties across all characters with said weapon equipped, it will receive 10k per turn in. You can instantly/fully upgrade a legendary this way.
