I just solo'd nightfall and got a sick nasty exotic gauntlet. Up to 3 exotic weapons and 2 armour pieces now

I don't have the correct weapons for that. Looks like close range stuff is by far the best.

I try to play Crucible and end up looking like Stephen Hawking trying to swim.

Every other part of the game I've played so far I've been decent enough. Not the best player but also not the worst. Think I'll stick with the story line stuff. I'll probably be missing out on a crucial part of the game but oh well. I know when to give up.

For crucible just run around with a fusion rifle and it's hard to be bad.

I put a ton of time into grinding over the last week in an effort to get it behind me. Stack of 200 relic iron should hopefully last a while.

I just grabbed like 80 relic iron this morning in anticipation of upgrading my new exotic weapon that I totally luck boxed last night. That first area in Mars is pretty loaded with chests and iron

Just got my second exotic quest, choice between pulse rifle, fusion rifle and machine gun. I probably would have gone with the pulse rifle if not for the fact I just spent 6 ascendant energy on my current legendary one, so no point in replacing it now.

Went with machine gun because it sounds like a PVE beast.

Yea I just got the machine gun bounty too. Sounded much easier than the other two and I'm not a huge pulse/fusion rifle fan anyway.

I've had my eye on the gjallarhorn rocket launcher.

I have 16/17 strange coins...

I'm a hunter and just bought a legendary chest before the weekend guy came in with his inventory of exotics so I don't want the hunter chest...

So is the Rocket Launcher worth it?
How does it perform in PvP/PvE?
Should I save the coins for next time?
What time does the NPC that sells them leave today?

For the hunters if you go the path of joining the Future War Cult for gear upgrades, they currently have an upgrade requirement of Ascendant Mote...

I say again, Ascendant Mote (not shards, not the other kind of mote) it is specific to the Hunters Future War Cult legendary gear.

THEY DON'T EVEN DROP IN THE GAME AORN got screwed... hopefully they fix it soon, i was going crazy trying to grind them to upgrade my legendary gear and then after much internet searching i found that nobody has gotten them yet and bungie is aware of the problem (this was 2 days ago) so maybe next week i can finally fully upgrade my gear...

I think exotic helm is the best exotic for each class, am I wrong there? I have the coins and motes to get exotics but am just waiting for the warlock helm. Also feels like risking 23 motes for an exotic that might not fit your class is risky

Can you be a little more specific? I just got my first exotic bounty and i have to find chests to open.
