Raiding with some others for now. Grab me when there's another run.

Got up to level 28 now with my raid buddy and have two legendary gear along with the Obsidian Mind. Maxing those out will probably get me up to 29 or 30. Kinda sucks that I won't get to play for three weeks now due to work. Ah well, damn real life variance.

A few thoughts from tonight...

1. I had no idea the Raid's were basically like Nightfall/Weekly and you could only gain loot 1x a week from them. I spent 4 hours tonight on 2 different raid sets thinking it was just a glitch but never got loot lol. It's good to help out people but lulz at me not knowing that.

2. The difference between people who consistently play together and those that don't is amazing. The 2+2 group was extremely cohesive and took things pretty quick from what I saw. This other group i played with for 3 hours tonight needed 10-15 attempts on each part and in the end never beat Crota. The difference was clear.

3. Who is up for some Nightfall tomorrow?

I'm about 1 raid away from 32, never thought it happen

Yeah I have no problems helping on occasion for a raid as well as weekly/nightfall as there are times where I need people to run them with me. I ran a nightfall last night to help a couple of guys get through it (I think they are in the clan).

We struggled on the bridge area. Kruze, I think we were on the same page on the mirror idea of it. Were you able to get through solo?

We had a 29 and even a 30 in the group with only 5 people instead of 6 so it was a bit tougher for sure. Oddly enough just last week the group I was with got through on the first go lol...maybe beginners luck.

So basically you need to get 3 people across 1 at a time just like how we were doing it while still keeping a person on the middle, left, and right on the initial starting side. Once the 3 get across they each step on the middle, left, and right plates on their end. On the initial starting side the remaining 3 still need to do the same steps of killing a sword bearer, crossing, and killing a gatekeeper one at a time.

I am almost thinking to keep the strongest or 32s for last to cross since they will have less protection/coverage....is that an accurate assessment?

That sounds pretty smart to me.

Next time I raid I need to find these chests. I don't think I've opened one chest in a raid outside of the first one I did with you guys weeks ago.

doesn't really matter, others can snipe the swordbearer, and theres plenty of room to hide

it works best if a titan (striker) crosses first, u can blind the gatekeeper with flashbang nades, so he can blind the other gatekeepers as well

Thinking of running crota soon and will need a couple.

Hey all, been lurking the forums for a while and decided to jump in. Got a ps4 for Christmas and been looking for more people to run with on destiny. I have a lvl 29 hunter right now and a few friends I run strikes/crucible with but I'm looking to start trying some of the harder content like raids and nightfall. Nice runs tonight guys. Killed weekly, nightfall and Crota with plenty of time for me to do bounties after.

Happy with my hunger of Crota rocket launcher as I've had a pretty Mediocre vanguard one for a while.

No raids. Guess i'm screwed out of playing hard mode tomorrow
