cant afford an ak or an m4? Probably better off saving money.

My lone exception would be the first round after a pistol round when you can buy guns vs a team that is likely ecoing. I always buy a P90 in that situations because armour+50 rounds + moving spray is actually super effective.

what do you guys think about using the cheaper rifles like the galil or famas? is this a waste and might i be better off saving for another round and just taking deagle? that thing is a tank btw. got hooked after my first one hit headshot.

Do you guys have 3D sound in this game?

I'm using headphones with Dolby and a soundcard, but can't for the love of god get positional audio. MAybe I'm missing some settings?

Yea its in settings, I had it set up incorrectly at first. Then googled my headset to see if it had 5.1(been over a year since I bought it and havent PC gamed in years). Then had to go in and change settings, love it now

Ive been using the AUG recently, just out of preference, its probably just variance but I just feel good with it, lol

Want a reccomandations? Don't but a headset. You'll get a way way better headphone for the same price and the 4$ stick microphone you find at any shop is the same as the headset mic.

I have a set of Logitech G35's that Im very happy with, but in the past Ive had Plantronics and Medusa's Ive been happy with too.

Happy to the point that I now have tinnitus in both ears due to too much gaming at too high volume, lol

ATH AD700 (~$75) + Blue Snowball Mic (~$60)

For the price you pay for these two items, the quality is insanely good. You can probably get a worse microphone and still do just fine, but it's hard to beat the AD700 at $75.

edit: At least one used on amazon for $70 right now.

I have the AD700 and an astro mixamp.... still having a much harder time distinguishing sounds than I did in 1.6 with DSP-500s (I think that's what they were called)

All my old 1.6 friends are having a tough time with sound... dunno if it's inexperience or age? :O

I have some terrible troubles too.

In BF3 I can pinpoint sounds with extreme perfection, here I can't even hear if it's from the left or right.

I have to be missing something somewhere.
