What a difference, especially with pistols/subs, or tapping headshots. This is gonna be so much more fun, also downloaded h1z1.

This I went to MGE to MG1 in 3 games right after rank update, had exams then away for a bit, came back and im nova 4 lol.

Confirmed. I'd pretty much only played dust, with some inferno/mirage/cache thrown in. I hadn't even played half of the other maps at all, except maybe a nuke every once in awhile. I turned off those main ones, and searched for game, every time i played a map i'd turned it off. I had alot more fun with the variety. Unfortunately people I usually paly with just wanna d2

Normal, it takes forever. Was alot faster when there was the operation to get extra xp doing challenges. I just grinded out deathmatch and worked on my ak tapping, was actually pretty valuable i think

Lower your settings again imo, 100fps isn't all that great in CS, you should probably be aiming for like 250-300 at a guess.

VOLVO JUST PERMANENTLY BANNED THE IBUYPOWER KIDS (they just clarified it)

"Our decision was to ban these players indefinitely from involvement in Valve-sponsored events. To clarify, the bans for these players are permanent, and players proven to have taken part in match-fixing will be permanently banned."

I said at least 100. I usually average about 170. What is point of having more than that? With a 60 hz monitor won't it only register 60 fps anyways?

This article eloquently states what is wrong with this permanent ban decision, or rather with the decision making process.

Sad story, and I think most of the community agree that it shouldn't have come to this point. But now even more than before, Valve have backed themselves into a corner they can't get out of.

What are the best places to buy stuff like skins, containers and keys? So far I have only used the market place and this is probably the worst place.

Opskins and I'm sure there are a few others.

RIP the ex IBP team, such a dumb perma ban. NA CS needed dazed, swag and steel.

I'm not really sure anyone who cares about professional eSports would think anything other than a permanent ban would be the correct decision. It's such a toxic thing that tolerating it in the slightest sets such a nasty precedent. The integrity of the sport is so much bigger than the "careers" of a few egotistical children.

I wish valve had been clear with them from the get go, but I just can't see how this is anything but a slam dunk decision. They all knew what they were doing is wrong, regardless of the amount of money won, or the actual written rules in place.

The popular ones can continue to make a good living streaming, or can go get an actual job. It's not like their lives are ruined.

Very well put imo, me personally I wish they would of became unbanned, but I understand what you are saying. If this was a random player that did this we would all be jumping down someones throat to get them banned, imo it shouldn't make a difference if they are a random or a pro.

^yea no one gives a **** about fxy0 and the epsilon guys or those random polish dudes.

valve does, however, have a double standard with regards to this kinda ****. they claim skins have 'no monetary value' or whatever their exacting wording was, so it's ok for them to be gambled by 13yr olds. betting and gambling made streams and csgo huge, so valve implicitly sanctions sites like lounge and all those jackpot and casino type sites (forbidding pros from betting is effectively the same thing as saying its ok for everyone else to bet, also the site admins apparently have some kind of open communication with steam support when it comes to managing their bots and ****). not to mention the backbone of their csgo business model is getting kids hooked on a $2.50/pull slot machine.

when guys throw meaningless matches for ostensibly 'valueless' skins, suddenly thats like a huge unforgivable sin tho. throwing is harmful because, obviously, the skins ARE worth something. a hardline stance of moral superiority coming from valve is laughable.

god I'm playing so bad at the moment, have 0 confidence in my aim. I'm more of a sprayer with the AK and M4A4 but recently I keep hitting people for 50+ in 2-4 hits it's so frustrating, it actually feels my shots aren't registering and this is on 128 tick servers too.

Also this is making over think things by the way I sit and positioned, even got my questioning my binds, like I've always questioned myself about having my mouse 4 or 5 (not sure 1 of the side buttons) as the walk button.

I think DaZed mentioned him as one of the better unknowns. I've seen him in pro mm's/pugs

To be fair I think there is record of him sucking at ONE lan. I'm not sure he's played anything serious aside from that one.

With the bans staying as they were, I think there isn't much talent in NA. Who else would they pick? Even if they pick Tarik (who I don't like, I don't think he's a great player, but many NA fans love him), they would still be an average team.

I love the C9 guys, I can't quite say why, but I know they're not bound to do anything really good this year (again). Here's to a chance to prove me wrong though!

C9 was trash last season and that's just in NA, despite winning a few smaller LANs like RGN, and IBUYPOWER Cup. They didn't even make ESEA LAN.

I thought they should have went hard after pronax when he left FNATIC.

There weren't really any moves left that would have an impact the level of s1mple joining Liquid. C9 seemed to put all their eggs in the basket that swag was getting unbanned.

Stewie2k played RGN LAN with m0e and steel. They lost to Winterfox (lol) and Luminosity. He was playing in open just a few seasons ago.

I think it's cool they took a chance on someone new, tho from all indications it'll crash and burn gloriously.

stewie left his last team because he was playing CS:GO so much he couldn't wake up on time to play more CS:GO and missed a qualifier. LOLZ

as someone thats been grinding a lot of FPL twitch lately id say that the gamble makes sense. he's 17 and grinds the game relentlessly. when he's matched with strong players he contributes in the right places but when he's stuck with randoms he struggles and can get moody. the stupid way FPL is set up where you have to put in ridic hours contributed to him making that big mistake of oversleeping some tournament with his last team.

i like the idea of him as 2nd entry more than shroud and just see what happens.

they clearly need a coach for IGL, aggressively go after the theory of not needing a player that doubles as a IGL for these new tournament series.

i like the pick way more than tarik. stewie is gonna struggle and will need time to develop but i see things with him and roca that i don't see with tarik.

@coolnout - I like the idea, but I doubt pronax would want to play with them. I think he legit took a break from CS, and going from #1 winning everything to NA mentality would be quite a downgrade lol

@Clayton - Yeah I agree, it's the pick that makes the most sense, but almost by default. There's literally no one else. If you watch FPL, there are like 8-9 (?) players who aren't in a pro team, 4 of which are banned.

It's going to be interesting to see how he develops. He definitely has potential, and can aim like crazy, but that doesn't make a team player. We'll see.

from what I've seen stewie2k is pretty decent at the game. He plays a ton and imo his aim is up there with Tarik, shroud. I'm not sure how he works in a team though vs other decent opponents in a actual team.I basically have him at a pug star at the moment but again I haven't seen him play in actual matches.
