That's ridiculous. If this is a tournament that is supposed to be fun and competitive, why are we taking the aspect of deepstack poker out of the equation?
Thoughts? I'm very hesitant to change rules now considering it's best if rules are ones everybody has signed off on. I also think the problem Syous mentions doesn't get avoided anyway - people can always end sessions to achieve the same result.

i like playing deep as much as the next guy but you gotta keep the stack splitting rule imo.

im assuming the stack splitting only applies when both ppl are over 200bb tho...can't just randomly split your stack bc you have 300 if they only have 150...

What I'm going to do: Use random.org/lists to randomize the "seeds" for the tournament. 1 on random.org's list will play 16, 2 will play 15, etc, like the bracket that has been posted.

I believe the bracket is now accurately reflected here. Please let me know if it does not correspond to random.org's randomly assigned seeds.

I'll PM people their pairings tonight, as well.

Please contact your opponent and set up session times. I'd encourage you to post them in the thread so that people can follow! But regardless, you should know in the first 12-24 hours when you've agreed to play.

Out to dinner, will be back to answer any questions in a few hours.

But since it's 3k hands they could just as easy say they have to go then when you meet next have 100bb. As long as no hand is played with effective stacks < 100bb don't see how it should be a big problem.

I hope you can appreciate why i would want you sodomised. With more time, this may not be the case... but until then you will always be tarnished with what you did and to wish you luck in this would just patronise all those that you tried to scam.
